There's a forum for that.

I tend to research stuff to death. Example: I'm looking for a small flashlight that works well as a flood. Lo and behold, there's a flashlight forum with members that are as enthusiastic about flashlights as guys are about modding their trucks. I mean there are flashlights that are hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I'd never spend that, but some people would never spend $10k on a turbo setup, so who am I to judge?

Anyway, thought it'd be interesting to see what other "odd" forums you've run across (or can find). Seems like there's one for everything.

I've been on that flashlight forum, or a flashlight forum anyway. Was looking for a pocket sized light with super bright white LED's and not so bright red LED's for my night flying.

Strangest one I've stumbled upon is for straight razors and other shaving accessories.

Lawn mower forum, not those crazy racing kind, just regular lawn mowers :lol:

I used to date a gal that collected old historical type flashlights. She kept all her lights ready to work and fully functional. A harmless hobby. :)

There is this forum for Nissan Titan's.... I think its called titantalk :lol: They thought they were fast or something.

Stumbled across when doing some research on fish for my daughter. There are some crazy people out there....guys were talking about spending $10k on ONE FREAKING FISH!!!!! Im cool with buying little fish for $3 and less...cant even imagine spending much more than that.

Just kinda shows that every single hobby out there is a wallet drainer. Every. Single. One.

ya there is even one out there where guys are trying to make those heavy full size chevy trucks go fast, what a bunch of idiots.. everyone knows if it doesnt have a hemi its garbage.lol

I havent done anything with it in a few years. Me and a few friends that I worked with put it together and it done great for a while. We all got layed off and dont work together anymore so it kind of tanked. Im hopeing to get it going befor to long.

I guess I can see where it'd be an interesting hobby, just because calligraphy and penmanship are virtually non-existent any more. But what I can't wrap my head around is what they pay for some of them. I saw a show not long ago, and there were fountain pens selling for upwards of $100,000.

I once made a list of forums I have login info to. GOOD LORD. Over 30 forums. The fish tank forum is for real. Those folks spend big big bucks on fish tanks and crap.

Its the same with any pets I think. My buddy breeds bearded dragons, and apparently he has a few that are worth upwards of 2 grand. And yes...there is a bearded dragon forum haha.

I am a member on pugvillage.com and it is a great forum but I can not go their very often. A bunch of pug loving ladies that will make you sad. Worse than watching lifetime movies or that stupid movie hope floats.
bikeforum.com is freaking huge to. I had no idea how big cycling really is.

I was a very active member of pocketbikeplanet back when those sweet little 2 strokes were still being imported until the lame ass EPA stepped in. Stock form they topped out at like 25ish MPH. After 10 minutes on that site you could do homemade mods to go 30mph. After a couple hundred dollars you could hit 45-50mph about 2" from the ground.
It was really fun at 15 years old. Learned a ton working on those things and thanks to that forum.
