Anyone have any ideas on which headers fit into a OBS to Ls1 engine swap? Its a 4wd.. :P
Shoenfield if any.
Schoenfeld wont fit 4x4...Haven't some people had luck with F-Body headers on 4 wheel drive swaps though?
i jus bought a set of pacesetter 70-2265 headers and matching y-pipe. they are made for a nbs truck but fit nicely in my 1988 k1500. got the headers and y-pipe for right around 400 bucks on ebay.
Dang thats not bad! I just had the headers-back redone though at the exhaust shop for my 350 months ago. Wish I could just get some headers for the ls that would bolt right into the ypipe and such I just got
big block headers for your year truck thats 4 wheel drive and just have someone weld new flanges on them..
joe2844....any pics? I'm being told that the NBS headers won't fit my '97 GMC.
Im just gonna have my buddy that owns a muffler shop make it work :P ill let yall know how he decides to do it
Paco, I will post some soon.
Thanks for the pics Joe I just ordered mine. Ill post up in my build thread when I get them on. Hope the work as well as they did for you!

Pace setter 70-2265 get the from summit mine are comin in today!
To the OP: You probably could purchase the Pacesetters and have a custom Y built by your exhaust shop to mate to your exhaust.
Yeah I cant decide if I'm either going to get them to just make a Y to my existing cat back dual or have them scrap everything and go from the pacesetters all the way back with true dual. Will I really see a difference in the two? Or should I just keep my SI/DO?
but btw I did order the pacesetters. Ill be wrapping them in the next few days
So these I assume would work in my 95 z71 6.0 swap?
Minime168- if you would post up how they fit when you get there, as a double confirmation for us other obs 4x4 guys. Thank you!
