You'll be just fine, just make sure the tuner pulls some timing
There are people running bigger shots on stock 5.3. Like said above, make sure the tune is good.
i put a 200 shot on a junkyard 5.3 with reused head gaskets and reused tty bolts and god knows how many miles... i think an actually nice 5.3 will be just fine with a 100 shot

I have not run nitrous on any GM vehicle but when I was building VWs for a living I build a couple nitrous motors running water/meth. It was a great setup as we could tune a great 91 or 93 octane street tune and not have to worry about race fuel or a second fuel cell for the nitrous itself.
