What the fastest you guys have been on regular street tires in the 1/8?

9.0 on worn out BFG KDW2. 295-45-20
not sure about the 1/8, but i ran my truck with the 22s once. went 15.1@126....lol
I went 10s on drag Radial but they were a Joke !!! Wasted 8 months messing with that crap ... Street tires i think 12s but i had a slow spooling rear mount and tight stall and amazing track conditions at temple race track
I went to the track last month to test out the 150 shot but ran into electrical issues so I did not feel like swapping to the DR's. I ran down the 1/4 on the street tires(Goodyear 295/65/16) and managed a 13.7 NA rolling into the throttle.
Here is what the slip looks like.

ive went 8.3 on my 22s spinning bad
8.06 @ 86mph on the wheels and tires that the truck came with from the dealership. Only happened once. Track was prepped perfectly. 1.81 60ft

Thanks man, it's been a while! lol. I haven't been driving the truck. Been going to EMT/Paramedic/Fire School and haven't had time to mod anything. I do have a 2000 T/A though, so I have an LS1! I do have a little something for the hemi though! ;)Quote:

not my truck, but my car did a 1.59 60' 11.1 @ 122 on a 245/50-16 riken raptor street tire....I couldn't believe it...also I accidently lauched in 2nd gear.....sad thing is I went back the next week and ran a1.50 60' 10.9 @ 123 launching in first gear on MT ET street radials
I will man. I'm gonna try and have the truck done for the Houston shootout in October. Only expect high 12's out of it for now. Stock block won't take more than 6ish lbs of boost. Any more than that and BOOM! lol. And I've been around GM stuff all my life, family and most of my friends. I've learned to have some pretty thick skin. lolQuote:
