People have certainly done those swaps. I wanna swap my center seat/console for a full console, but funds aren't there at the moment
My main reason for asking is the 2011 and 2012 HD trucks dont have the center seat available in the SLT, Denali and LTZ packages. I figured since the swap is pretty straight forward on the GMT800's, it wouldnt be much more difficult in a GMT900 HD. Just getting ideas on what direction to go for a new DD.
Does anyone have a link to a how to or know someone who has done it?
iirc, they have the same bolt pattern. because a former customer swapped the center jump seat out in a 06 with an 08 because he kept breaking his lid.
Wait, from what I understand, you want to get an SLT level truck and swap the console for a seat?

Like I said, the swap from jumpseat to full console has been done a bunch of times, and it's a direct bolt in replacement, so it should be the same way to go from console to jumpseat.
