5.3 mild cam for dd. need advice for the rest of the parts needed

I'm finally ready to order parts. I decided to go with the Lunati 60510 cam
Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 262/268
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 212/218
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .531"/.531
What springs, pushrods, should I run with this cam? What other stuff should I upgrade? The engine is out of a 2002 suburban, I did an engine swap on my 70 c-10 swb about 2 years ago and it runs great, but I allways wanted to do a cam and torque converter upgrade. I have the stock rearend it has 3.73 gears. I also want to order a corvette servo. I don't have enough money to upgrade the 4l60e tranny, but so far it has not givin me any problems.

All ur stock stuff will work... Thats very similar car to the cam comp claims no tune needed... But tune always helps!

i wouldnt use stock springs i would at least upgrade to the ls6 springs there only like 65 bucks brand new from summit racing, and your stock pushrods would be fine. A tune would get the most power out of the cam..if it like the comp 212/218 then it will love timing advance

Thank you for the suggestions, so I don't need hardoned pushrods? I'm to far from Nelson Performance, would a mail tune be ok? Can I get away with just a hand held tuner?

no mail order tune would be better than a hand held but if you can find someone to do a live tune it would be the best. and if you plan to rev the snot out of it i would get pushrods as the stock ones are designed to bend at high rpm. Dont NEED them but its good insurance. The vette servo is a great upgrade too as its only like 20 bucks and takes like 30 min to put in :)

Dependimg on the yr on those pushrods... Gen 4s are better than gen 3s... But I believe hes lookin to do it on a budget but maybe mistaken.. On my 220/224 I did all ls3 rods and springs... Nothing crazy it was low lift cam

LS7 lifters LS6 springs and push rods are cheap anyway get good ones and don't look back :)

Also the vette servo is totally worth it.

Mail order Tune should be fine.

Get a circle D TC they are very very well reviewed by everyone that has one.

So the ls6/ls3 push rods and springs are the same quality? Where do I order all the parts from? Except for the TC of course. I was thinking Summit Racing. I realy appreciate everyones help.

finally got some goodies. springs, pushrods, cam. Waiting on 3000 stall converterAttachment 5636, built 4l60e. The Eaton posi unit is in, along with 3.73 gears. The torque converter is a reworked TB converter with all new heavy duty parts.Attachment 5635

Couldn't help it, my bulldog just had puppies.
