GoPro Test !

I was testing my new GoPro and got a video getting home in The Hybrid Truck....went Full electric all the way until I was gonna park. You can hear engine starting at 1:19 when I shift in Reverse.

It's cheap, compared to the other sport cams. I got the Hero 1080 MotorSport for $232.99 free shipping from a Texas store ! (Rocket Fast Parts)

That Vid was shoot at 1080p @ 30 fps

I'm thinking on buying another one for the inside the cab shoots, and then editing both shoots in one vid !!!

So----It takes you less than two minutes to drive home from work????? Or that was just a minute and a half vid test? Either way I want one.

Shooting at 1080 the files are huge, I just uploaded the last part. Will go down in resolution so files will be smaller. I have a 32Gb SDHC that is good for more film time that the fully battery charge (2.5 hours)

Here is a vid on 720@60fps. Thing is that instructions state that, Microphone wise, you can use the open back lid for 100 mph or less, and the close lid for more that 100 mph.

In this vid I hardly hit 60mph and the wind sound sucks. I'll test with the close lid and compare results.

Now I tested in the Duramax, hence to hear a stronger engine.
This test is made with full close lid. But still wind sound is a bitch !!!

I'm guessing that placing the cam in front of the side rear-view mirror, makes a turbulence of air that hits bad the mic.

I'll place the cam further in front at night !

This is at night, 720@60FPS, and the cam is placed in the front fender instead of the door.

Wind noise got better, I can hear the engine. But Still at higher speed Wind wins.

I'll place it off line with the rearview mirror later.

You can hear when I go out off the light and then WOT, and the 33"x10" fight for traction in a stock Nelson Tuned DD !!!!

i picked one up a couple weeks ago and tested it on my friends lexus but i dont think the picture came out as clear but i was watching it through the tv and not the computer. Im going to do some testing on the dmax and see how it does and then you can really see some 33's fight for traction :lol:

I wish they'd make a remote setup for them. That and the microphone issue are the only things I don't like.

Did you test your GoPro.

Why not a GoPro Burn put shoot out:burns:

I'll post mine as soon as I replace my Inner front rods. I bend them launching in 4wd with boost.

I just order the Kriptonite Rods and Cognito supports. Hope they last better !
