Any one have problems with TR?

Not sure where to post this but here it goes.

Bought complete cam kit with comp cams spring tool.
Was told I would get it on 4-29 and didnt get it till 5-13, 2 weeks later then I was told.
Then I was told they shipped everything but the spring tool. Then to my surprise it was in the box. Great...So I thought. The spring tool looked used but it couldnt have been because its not even tapped for the compressing bolt. I was supposed to be driving this truck already and now I cant do $h!t this whole weekend and Im sure wait at least another week till another tool shows up. One of those deals where I wish I would have just done a summit deal. They also act like all this stuff is different or better but its all just comp cams stuff.

It is what it is, but I promise they are getting an ear full monday morning.

I've had no problem with them, but I've had nothing but issues with Texas Speed. Three orders have been screwed up. Wrong parts once, double billed twice. Last time I called them and gave them a piece of my mind, they told me they no longer wanted me as a customer. I told them that was just fine and put a stop payment on the product through my bank when they wouldn't refund either charge.

Huh. I have only ordered once from texas speed and everything was as promised. It is just so frustrating to not be able to do anything.

The ONLY problem I had with it was that they didn't send my cam card with my order. Other than that everything was sent as they told me and arrived when they told me it would.

I didnt get a cam card, all I got was the sticker on the box.

Same here...and mine was the generic for a custom grind.

I have had a few problems with TR shipping too, it took almost a month to get my parts. and on a following occasion when I ordered the comp cams roller trunion uprgade kit, they sold it to me without letting me know it was out of stock, all I got from them was "It will be in next week"
well after a month I canceled my order and just bought some harland sharps from summit. If thats how they are going to do business then I will buy from somewhere else.

all I know is they better do something. We shall see tomorrow.

Well they said they would send out another one today and cover all shipping costs. It should ve here wed. or thurs. Hopefully it's true as I have heard this from them before.

Good luck with that. First order from then was a complete cam kit... 1 week late.
2nd cam kit they advised the wrong length pushrods which caused a horrible ticking. When I called back I was told a tech would call me back... Still haven't got that call.
3rd time I ordered bolts and gaskets for a fast 90. They were out of stock and didn't tell me. So called back after a week. It was "going to ship to me tomar at latest" waited another week. Called back they only got the gaskets in. And didn't get the bolts in. To which he said " let me run down the road. Another shop should have them in stock" and I finaly got then 3 weeks later.

Well I got a tracking number today, 9hrs after I called. Hopefully its not just an empty box. We shall see.

Also sorry to hear some of the other TR stories.

I still never recieved my cam card. I emailed them a couple weeks after it came in and havent heard anything back from them still...been almost 5 months. :lol:

It may be hard to get the proper card from them...the cam I ordered was 219/230 .607/.604 and I got 224/230 .609/.604 (based on grind numbers on the end of the cam). Not that Im complaining about having a bigger cam or anything, just would have liked to have the card to go along with it.
