i just finished watching a documentary about chronic Lyme disease called "Under Our Skin" and it was kinda shocking and eye opening. I admit i didn't even know there was such a thing as chronic Lyme till about 3 months ago when i started talking to a lady i went to high school with and shes infected with it and has been for over 2 years. her odyssey of treatment and day to day living and the documentary make the disease sound super debilitating. its just on my mind and i figured i would share

Always aware of this since I live in Maine like you... I used to get covered with those things when I rode my four-wheeler when I was a kid... dont know how I didn't get it.
tis the season here in maine, pulled 25 off the dog the other night, and shes been treated with frontline... absolutely nuts.

And yes, they have been using it in Africa for a while now. They started using it against Malaria-which it cured completely in 4-10 hours. Theyre using it on HIV and cancer with good results too.

Most of the money they bring in goes to promotions and not research. Regardless, you have to have scientists and patients willing to test and be tested upon. That is one of the major issues with cancer... no test subjects willing to take the plunge.Quote:

Im no expert, but as far as I know and have heard over the years, there has NEVER been a cure for ANY disease. There have been ways to rid the body of certain diseases through medications and procedures, but there has never been a true cure for anything, not even the common cold. When we refer to cures, we should certainly discriminate between a medication that destroys and removes an existent disease from your body safely as opposed to a vaccine which basically prevents you from getting it in the first place. A vaccine is NOT a cure, but it is a means of eradicating certain disease from the mass populous bloodstream
I would venture to say a vaccine is more of a cure than something along the lines of antibiotics. It is possible to completely eradicate diseases if vaccines are used properly.Quote:

Well, as for whether you can cure a disease or not, I would venture to say that if they cant find any trace of it in your system, youre as good as cured. MMS isnt a drug. In fact, all it does is boost your immune system by a large amount. They discovered this by using it on Malaria-which is supposedly incurable. Blood test before, and the next day another one. The first one is absolutely positive, the second one there is no trace of it. Works for me-and a few thousand other people.......
