Always wondering how much different models weight when reading track times, I was also wondering if there would be weight advantage to buying a newer truck. I have a 1990 rcsb 2wd and I scale 3900lbs with a 160 lb driver.

I really don't even want to know how fat I am. 5800+?
I've never had mine on a legit scale, but at the scrap yard last time I went the truck was around 5500 unloaded. :(
I have done some small weight reduction since then but not much. So I will say I'm around 5350?
I', 4,060, 4,220 with me in a 4x4 LS1 dodge ram....

I still love that truck, goes against my beliefs entirely but still love it. Can't believe I'm admitting this, but an LS may find its way into my old parts truck.
My 99 ECSB was 4380 with 1/4 tank, no tail gate and no back seat.
i have been 4120 no driver... no tail gate and no bed cover......... my race weight was 4550............ Looking to drop ALOT to get me down to NHRA legal....
My truck is approx. 5420 with driver. It has a lot of weight added, plus a lot taken off...
All this makes me wonder what my truck weights. May hit the local junk iron scales just to see.
Almost 5500-6000 depending on which scale i am on, with me in it, 3/4ton
mine was 5005 last time on the scales but i have dropped at least 50 off of it.
Mine in race trim, which is no tailgate and slicks on the rear, without me in it is 3985
The last time my 68 was was on the scales, it still had steel wheels and a tool box laying in the floorboard. It tipped the scales at 3560 without my fat butt in it. I need to hit the scales again to see where it's at now. I'm gonna guess about 3450 without my 300 lbs in it. I need to go on a diet and start working out.

I might have to hit the scales at CO-OP the next time I get gas to see how much my 05 CC weighs.

4885 with me,minus spare tire
3890. No passenger seat or rear seats. 2001 Blazer xtreme with lq4/4l60e. I am almost 300 lbs
Mine is an extended cab work truck. 4730 with out me in it with about a 1/2 tank, 20" rims, and no spare tire.
4520 08'rcsb
Mine is 5400 full tank with me in it. I'm about 190, so just north of 5200. Not bad for this truck, but makes me a little jealous of people coming in under 4000.
my brothers 05 ssr weighs 6050 out the dealer.
yeah... ain't no way a SSR weighs the same as a suburban
OK. That's a little more like it. :ugh2: I was fixin' to say, that's one hefty jelly bean!!
My avalanche weighs 5980 with me, ya, so no way they are close to the same weight.
The ssr wieghs 4700 lbs that was prior to 05, when they had the 5'7 in 05 they switched to a 6.0 and the first year they offered the 6 speed, i dont think think the motor added 1300#s def not the 6 speed.
Just put mine on my nieghbors scale this morning 4380. With out me in it.Thats about what I thought it would be.
Curb Weight is the actual weight of the truck without any passengers or cargo in it. It’s the base weight that is used in subtraction to calculate the total weight of the vehicle with passengers and cargo. (4700)
Gross Vehicle Weight is the total weight of the loaded vehicle. This includes the vehicle itself and the cargo that is loaded within that vehicle. (6050)
