dont know if its been addressed before, but why not?
Because the military members and veterans on this site dont want a section and we realize that the world doesnt owe us anything cus we went to war or cus we're a veteran also there isnt many veterans on the site so it would be pointless, also they end up getting cluttered up with some army guys "war" stories:lol:
what would the military section be for?
Off hand id say everyone on here appreciates someones service in the armed forces. And there r a good many members on this site that currently serve or have served. But this is a truck site for racing. Normal conversation and things pretaining to your day isnusually discussed in the racers lounge. U could start a thread for military conversation....See if it catches on
Ive seen some things man....and some stuff
haha. "i wouldnt recommend it!"
There's no need, PM's work just fine or post in the Racer's Lounge.
On other sites isn't just like a regional section? This site doesn't need those, know where 95% of the members are from? Texas.

If you wanted you could click on http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/group.php?do=create and create a community group for it.
done.
Another reason i don't think it would be a good idea is the amount of FOUO, and possible classified info that might be let out. Not that I think anyone would do maliciously, but who knows who could get their hands on it. Lol, I'm typing this from an "undisclosed location in Southwest Asia". Should have some pretty cool pics of my daily drivers soon.
well yea dont post info that could jeopardize your people or mission. past experiences are fun to share though. i hated it when people would post on their facebook status where we were. "going to sangin tomorrow." i'm like what the eff dude!!!! you think taliban dont have computers?! lol
daily drivers.... MRAP, MATV? lol
Lol, those were my daily's on my last deployment. This on I get to drive a 2010 Light Armored Suburban, a Heavy Armored 2007 Mercedes S600, and a heavy armored 2007 Lexus LX470. This deployment is MUCH better than my last.
I drove combat boots, POGS
Still rather be a POG than a bullet catcher. j/k
yea i would definitely rather be a pog. grunt life totally blows... even if you like it.
being a grunt has aged me 5x faster than normal.
So you're what? 12 now?
i'm 27 and my knees, ankles and hips are 45.
Def feel you on that one. Full gear and an 80+ lb ruck are no joke.
staying ridiculously hydrated helps a lot, but its not a cure-all. you never truly realize what the human body is capable of doing until youre in afghan under fire and its like... do this or die.
Reading this from my VA appointment. Already at 30%, would be nice to get another 10 from todays appointment.
if yall get a military section we need an oil patch section too, there is just as many as us as there is of yall LOL. Yes i know G you get entry into both.
I'll get to be in both too!
G- I've thought about appealing it, just haven't had the time to. I would really like 50 though!
+ 1 on the both section lol. 82nd airborn
No need for anotgervsection full of lies!
Got another 10%!
I gotta 10% tattoo!
