i have a powered 10" bazooka tube, and im thoroughly unimpressed with the volume and the sound quality.
I had a buddy in high school that had one, it sounded pretty good for what it was. Does it have enough amp to push it? what brand?
my dad had one in his jeep grand cherokee, it was decent.
I had one in my RC when I first bought and was never too impressed, it always sounded muddy to me (with both the factory deck and aftermarket) so I just built my own box with a single Alpine type R 12" and would never think about going back.
I'll trade my dd9512 for it,,,
never liked them.. jus get u a alpine type r and ull be happy
i have an MTX 10 in the car, and it sounds awesome. i may just replace the speaker and amp and use the current "tube" enclosure.
I used an 8" JL in a NOS bazooka tube, in the compititon system in my 03 Focus wagon. With about 300w I hit a 130db with it. Not too bad considering the encloure was not designed for the speaker., plus it was only one 8" sub. Worked good for my application.

I'm going to get me 2 of those NOS Bazooka tubes soon, sound pretty cool.
The only thing a bazooka tube is good for is to fill in the lows in the music, it won't bump or knock in any respectable manner. They are great for the price but they do not offer much beyond filler. I've installed many and have been thoroughly unimpressed. They do they job they are asked but none more.
