Decent 4L60E and 3200 Yank Stall

Hey Guys, just seeing what kind of interest there is for my trans and 3200 Yank Stall.
The trans is a 4L60e with pretty much everything in it. It does have the 4gear planets, but they have never broken, so I don't think it's a big deal it doesn't have the 5 planets. But the other parts are all aftermarket.
The stall is a 3200 Yank and has never given me a problem. It's a great stall! It doesn't slip much during normal driving, but when you gas it, it will flash to 3300rpms or so.
The trans is as is: I'm swapping to an 80e and new stall because the current trans is slipping on the topend. It only slips at the top of each gear at wot. Anything less and it shifts just fine, I guess it's just slowly going.
The trans fluid is a little dull, but not burnt and the bottom of the pan looks pretty decent. So, I haven't destroyed the trans. All it probably needs is a simple rebuild to freshen up the bands and clutches.

hmmm.... might be even better if new clutches were already installed and it was ready to install in the next vehicle. It sounds like an awesome tranny and I think someone needing a good one would really be interested in it. Considering how good of a job it did handling the HP in your truck, I would consider it as good as anyone else's performance build ups.

Allen, What about the 4L80 weight? I know you'll gain plenty of strength but lose in the quarter. How about putting some nitrous on to make up for the added weight? LOL

the added weight is just a little compared to the near 50 extra ponies it takes to turn that big tranny.

Well, in that case, I may offer it as a rebuilt trans with freshed parts. I'm sure it needs a good cleaning, 3rd clutches, and a new 2/4 band.

On the 80E, if I can't get my 60's down, I still have my nitrous kit, that may be an option, heheh.

If loosing a little ponies for a stronger trans is the trade off, that's ok with me, I'm tired of this thing going out, maybe the 80E will handle the power better.

added power hell ya. wait till you get it in there. they feel and shift way different than the 60e. a lot more solid. oh yay ill send you a file i have played with on mine and have gotten it to shift real nicely. :lol:

how much for the stall?

how much for the combo? Stall? Tranny?

sorry for the delayed response, i'm asking $350 for the stall, i was thinking of putting it in my gto, but i don't need to start thinking about that lol.
it's a nice tight converter, but will flash to 3200rpms when needed, which makes for a nice daily driver.



i want 600 for the trans, anyone who can replace the clutches and band, will have a solid trans that will last, just not in my case.
figure a couple hundred buck for fluid, gaskets, parts, etc, $600 for the trans, and for under $1K you have a nice trans to beat on. don't forget, it has a lot of hard parts inside of it alread that are in perfect condition.
add the stall for $300.

Is the Yank 3200 the Truck Thruster, the Pro Truck or neither? The reason I ask is the Pro Truck has a much higher towing capacity and I would be interested in that case. Thanks.

Hey Allen,

Did you ever find a buyer for these items? I&#39;d definately still be interested in the Yank. I&#39;m tempted on the 4L60E cause I could build it up and then simply swap it into my truck. Would avoid possible down time with the tranny work I&#39;m planning.

If you already moved &#39;em, then never mind...
