They are cheap but some have had no problems with them.
There's a handful of people running them on their NBS and NNBS trucks without any issues, just run a stock gasket rather than the crappy gaskets that come with the kit.
They work great. I put some on my buddies dads truck and they were the easiest set of headers i've isntalled yet...

Does anyone know if a set are sold without the EGR coming off the Passenger side header?
No there isn't. But the hole is threaded so you can just get I believe an 1/8" NPT plug for it
Fake cat huh, will my engine light come on or will i need to get it tune and deleted.
It is something to think about. I really prefer not to have the tube hanging off the side. To me it would stick out like a sore thumb.
Ok thanks guys, time to order. Seems like no one had anything bad to say about them.
They suck!!!
JK, i have em as well. Work great and no header ping.
I had a set for my Trans am and loved them, had no probs and I only paid $150 shipped for them.
just put some on the caddy they are really nice. i dont notice the egr tube for what they cost!
i'v had them for almost a year now with no problems and they still look great!! kind of a sucky pic but you can still see them. just make sure and wipe em down with brake clean or rubbin alcohol when you get done because the oils from your hands will turn them an ugly brown color once they get hot
mine are sitting in the closet :(
what are they doing in the closet? slap those bad boys on lol
They are next to the cam/heads/injectors....still need a oil pump, ls7 lifters, and few misc things before I tear into it. Plus, it's 20* and snowing right now, and I don't fit in the garage. Come spring :burnrub:
i have a set on the Black Bitch, they fit great, look great, and even being a 4wd they have no clearance issues
only bad thing from what ive seen is the hard to get to plug on the driver side. which is not a big problem i guess?
^^^Easy to get on, they touch though. Just have to fasten the two rear driver plug wires to teh head away from the primaries or just get some heat shield booties..
there's a huge writeup thread on pt.net about these. i keep telling myself i'm fixing to get a set... somehow i just keep wasting money on the vette & can't seem to afford them :sadno: (stupid supercharger install fund... along with the short throw, intake, projector headlights, LED tails, etc...)
can you post up the item number or a link to them?
can yall tell if there are any differances that im missing between the two other than a chance to give one a best offer?

Look the same to me. One just has cheaper shipping.
Not sure if anyone has come out and said it but these headers will fit nnbs I have proof! :)
idk if it happens on other body styles but on nnbs the header/y-pipe setup actually pushes the cat back about 6 inches requiring some new hangers or at least re welding the old ones.... Oh and btw wires suck on these I am definetly gonna make my own wires soon to clear that stupid hump on the driver side lol not bad for the price fairly decent quality too
Does the Y bolt right up or mods needed?
ive been told to do 3"
3in duals is real big unless you have some big power it really depends on your mufflers and if your running cats as well
no cats and a straight thru flow mufflers you would be better off going a little smaller like 2 3/4.
Lots of 300+hp guys out there running a single 3in
Also depends on if you are talking about true duals.
i guess i was told 3" because when the local muffler shop bends the pipe they do not stay perfectly round, as to a mandrel bent pipe. so it loses some flow.
Plenty of F bodies with well over 400+rwhp with 3" Y-piped exhaust as well. Definitely no need for a 3" true dual setup on anything anywhere near stock...especially since these headers only have (dial caliper measured) 1-5/8" primaries and 2-1/2" collector pipes anyway....regardless of what they advertise them as. I've personally made over 500rwhp through 1-5/8" longtubes and 2.5" dual exhaust on another project, and know several others who've done the same.
BTW, I'm the one who posted the huge thread (actually over a year ago) about these same headers on PT.net complete with tons of install pictures, tips, ideas, etc...and yes, I am still happy with them, no problems to date, no complaints, and still the best value per dollar for any longtube header/y-pipe setup out there, bar none.

UPDATE!!!
FYI> It's been confirmed that these actually are 1-3/4" primaries as advertised. I measured them internally, and got 1-5/8", but externally, they measure 1-3/4". A guy on performancetrucks.net measured his high dollar Stainless Works 1-3/4" headers and they measure the exact same circumference as these Ebay headers do...5.5" around...
