Nice run! I'm sure you will keep us updated as the mods keep comming.
What does that equal in the quarter?
Good run :thumb:
9.66 X 1.56 = 15.06
i ran it again and it ran a 9:52 in 1/8
Shouldnt that be close to a 14 second 1/4?
1fastsilverado is going to have to change his name to 1slowsilverado if it takes nine minutes and fifty-two seconds to go 1/8 mile. What did you do, push it?
How is it running flat 15's with just flowmasters on it?
It is April Fool's day. If Vortecs could get C1500s running 14 sec quarters we'd all be putting them in instead of LSx motors.
ask 2ktukin20's, and ppl around here, im bone stock other than 2 flowmasters, and i run 9.52's. i aint ran in 1/4 yet. i got time slips i can scan to prove it
I have seen the truck run and it is very capeable ?spelling? of running that he will stay right with me. There is a GM PROM chip in the computer unless some one has put a cam in the truck b4 he owned it, it is box stock. I know that factory vortecs are not supposed to be that fuckin quick but it is. It gives a nelson tuned 5.3 a very good run. I have been 9.39 at the same track that he went the 9.5x
I'm not sure it would go that low in the quarter, you have to remember that those engines arent as beefy on the top end as the 5.3 is. The stock torque on a 350 is maxed at 2900 rpm, and the 5.3 tops out at 4400?? The 5.3 is a hoss on the top end, especially tuned by Allen. I gave a 02'Stang GT a very good run and was pulling on him quick in the last 1/8.

1/8 mile time X's 1.56 will yeild the closest 1/4 mile number.
