Don't know how to do a tally thing so i'll just ask...
215/223 .604/.610 112+5
or
219/227 .607/.614 112+5
or

I'm just kidding i didn't want no input....
Anyone?
With a 5.3 and a 2800? How about the TR220 or TR224
Yea that's what i'm gonna do :D
Guy at thunder sold me on it
Ok... 112 or 114?
Rather it not be too rough. If your not wanting rough idle is it worth the extra low end?
Well 114 if u dont want a choppy idle
yea that's what i'll have to do then
I have the tr220 on a 112 and put down 325 na with a mail order tune and bolt on. Great running and sounding cam and very streetable. Just make sure to get that stall.
Tr 220 114
I've got a set of ls6 springs to put on for the time being, gonna upgrade later.... :ugh2:
Anyone running the circle-d 26-2800?
And to finish this all off.. i'm getting a valve job and bowl job. Said it would give another 20hp on top of cam and headers.
If your gonna go through the trouble of changing springs, then I would go ahead and do the dual springs and just be done with it. I had the circle d reworked tb verter and it was a pretty nice unit, never had any problems. But with that being said the yank is very nice.
Get the heads milled down, if you didn't already have that planned. Take about .030 off and that'll give you a nice little bump in compression.
Yea the comp 918's are more than enough sufficient for the lift on this cam.
And going .03 off would leave me at what compression? 9.5 to?
:sigh:
bring you up to around 9.5:2.3
Whoa... what? lol
I think it will bring you up to 10:1, give or take a little.
Oh ok... not bad. This would mostly be for throttle response for that small of bump wouldn't it?
