i already have the small v8, getting a ford is the only thing i can think of to stop getting tickets. i have been pulled over 4 times in 5 days and got 2 tickets; 89 in a 60 and 75 in a 60. DAMN IT! sorry guys just needed to vent and not wake my sleeping wife, so ls1.com is where i go. lol:doofus:

Dude, find a dragstrip and race your ass off for a night to get your need for speed satisfied. I have no desire to speed after a full night at the track. :thumb: Time to grow up. :laugh:
Get a 4.3, couple days ago marked one full year without getting pulled over for me
Learn to read your speedometer. And try a make that number match the big white sign you just passed with the numbers on it.

I had my fair share of tickets when I was young. Really it is amazing that I am alive.
I made a nissan 4cyl truck average 110mph in a 45mile trip. I remember blowing through a stop sign and looking in the rear view to see 2 cars side ways. That was my dads first heart attack. I did not cause it. I was just responding to it. I had many more trips like that. 1 time in a 65 chevy truck with a 400 small block. 1 time in a 86 z28. 1 time in a 89 GTA transam and once on a CBR600. The last heart attack trip I made was in a Nissan hardbody. 4cyl. I only got stopped once and that was in the GTA. Funny thing about that was I slowed down from 120 to about 75 to pass some cars in a passing lane. He got me doing 75 in a 55. I didnt even try to explain. I took the ticket and hoped he went the other way. He did.
you sound like a buddy of mine. got a 08 crew cab duramax, 10" lift and runs on the govener all the time. 30 miles each way to work and he never lets off. like 125 all the way
jaja yea i used to have a trans am! had a poop load of tickets then got rid of it and got a single cab wit a 4.3 and been ticket free for almost 2 years...but na u shouldnt get rid of ur truck thers nothing like drivin a chevy and then going to ford pfff!! worse lol thats my knowledge
If u get a ford than the cop gonna pull u over and give u a ticket for driving a POS!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you need to keep your foot out od the pedal, not be stupid in a smart zone.. A new truck isn't going to keep your foot out of it, then you will be pissed cus you sold you gm for a ferd..
I feel your pain. I haven't had my 5.3 RCSB very long, but it's hard to keep my foot out of the throttle. I have other good running cars, but this truck feels like it wants to be flogged all the time. Sometimes the only thing that keeps me out of trouble is the fear of frying the 4L60.
I also try to use the cruise control when possible, especially in construction zones. I'd be in sooo much trouble if I didn't. :)
yeah i was just jokeing around i will never own a ford. and i didn't get the tickets being a kid and just speeding around. the 89 in a 60 i was getting around 6 big rigs and a cop was waiting on the other end, and the other was not me i had the cruise set it was a damn olds alero. but he saw the bright red truck with shiny wheels not the fleet white olds. i was just venting about my bad luck so close together.
