Need more info on your setup sir.
well my setup is gonna be exhaust, Cai and tune for the moment- and later get an LS6 cam but right now its just gonna be exhaust cai and tune
whats it in? rcsb, ecsb ccsb blah blah blah!!!
probably 15-16
ls6? why?
well i actually wanna get the T-rex cam but i wana see my times wit just bolt ons 1st...and its a single cab and r u sure dont u think thats a lil slow??
some cold weather and you'll run better times
this is your mod list :
exhaust, Cai and tune , how much do you expect to gain from it?
i'm never sure about the numbers i post, only if there my own ;)
is your truck fully loaded? with electric windows, door locks, seats blah blah blah? how much does it weigh?
theres alot of factors involved :)
by the way i just threw those numbers up there lol!! the track is the only real way to find out, i am sure you know that.. but having a stock truck and making a pass to see where youre at is great, its something to build from.
most important i threw those numbers up there so when you do run you can come back and tell me you ran faster ;) than what i posted lol, this way if i would have said 12s and you ran 14-15s you wouldnt be disappointed lol
jaja na man mine is was a work truck it has the work it with ur hand windows and stuff lol its those basic truck nothing special jaja
well thats good then bc its lighter!
Like skeet said, It depends on your setup, And trust me Skeet knows his stuff.
I have a RCSB 00 Silverado, was a work truck also nothing fancy, Threw an Iron Headed LQ4/4l80 combo, stock with 3.42s CAI and tune and was runnning 15s.
I think with just the pure fact of having a 4l60e youll be in atleast high 14s
Funny thing some friends of mine had said with just the 6.0 swap id be in the high 13s low 14s, LMAO you can guess just how dissapointed I was with my times.
thats an execellent platform to start building on, is your what year model is your 6.0? it doesnt have the iron heads does it? deffinitely worth spending the dollars on for a quick truck
theres always gonna be disappointment specially if you just throw parts at it without really knowing what works and how it works. i'm not saying you done this but 90% of the people that start modding these heavy ass trucks, really dont have a clue what there getting into nor how to match parts to parts to make them perform ;) i read alot of B.S. but i also talk to the people that know ;) specially before i make decissions, dyno pulls is a valuable tool when building a quick truck !! then theres the decission that needs to be made about how far one wants to go with there build, i have thousands in my truck to get it where its at.. maybe not near as much as a blown or forced induction truck but with a little nitrous it will hang with the BEST, it takes more then just a motor to go fast specially in the 1320, its every part of the drivetrain, from front to rear..
your hopes are easy to achieve, dont give up you'll get there easier with a 6.0 then with a 4.8 ;)theres alot of quick trucks out there, loaded or not its all in how you go about doing things that makes a difference
