LS6 cam

This thing has never been installed. Bought it directly from SDparts.com about a year ago now with the aspirations of installing it along with a turbo on the 5.3 and its sat in the box since it arrived. :lol: Anyway plans have changed and I wanna get rid of this thing. I would like to get $275 for it but if I cant get that oh well.

Its BRAND NEW and has absolutely NO wear on it at all.

Im open to trades if anyone is interested....I am really looking for a good set of double springs more than anything.

we talked about this cam before.. is it not a good fit for my SS? what size pushrods would you have to run with that?

how mild is this cam. I need something that wont kill my gas mileage.

It wouldn't be bad for your SS. If you dont want a big cam, just a little more that what you've got this will do it for you. Some say you need longer pushrods but I recall Virgil telling me he ran it with stock length (7.4) pushrods and had no problems.

If my memory serves me correctly the specs are 204/218 .551/.547 117LSA.

yep.. thats what i was thinking.. nothing crazy on the cam, just something that would compliment the 243 heads with stock rockers...

i am looking for a cam for my truck but i cant afford a new tune or converter till mid summer. can i just swap this cam in, or do i have to replace push rods and other things.

i ran this cam with z06 springs and stock pushrods :),,,im sure you can run on the stock valve springs for a little while...i ran the 212 cam on stock springs with no problems...BUMP
