discount tire might be able to get you a discount.. :)
check treadepot.com...cheapest place ive found
Got some friends who are assistant managers of a few different discount tire stores, one in Plano so I might can get you a hookup
discount tire is going to be WICKED expensive. I have several hookups and they couldn't do much.
Treaded tires ride like crap and don't last long. Unless you're making a mud truck, I would spend a little extra and get new tires.
I've had GREAT luck with 'blem' tires off ebay. I just got a 35" mickey thompson mud terrain for like 110 shipped brand new. They have to pass all safety tests, but usually have a nick in white wall or something stupid. I've bought/sold several sets for several vehicles. The last set of 4, 315/75/16 tires I got were 550ish to my door.
how do you search for "blem" tires
i think i actually searched 'tires blem' and included description...found a couple places that sold them, and then emailed them about size I want. Most are pretty good about finding stuff.
Thanks guys...
Yeah, I'm not really wanting anything terribly chunky but it needs to be a good mix. I'll be driving across the country on them and in the snow once we get there, so...
I might be able to help.
I'm not quite ready to buy yet, but I've been checking prices and they're pretty expensive. So I wanted to plan ahead a little and see if anyone could help. If you can that'd be great. It might be a couple/few months.
My current tire size is 35" x 20" x 12.5"
$175 a piece shipped, I paid more for street tires for the OBS truck.

I need 20's... I typed 17 because I'm selling those other wheels (typo).
...long day....
have you looked at General and Kumho? They seem to have the best prices on 325+ 20s.
Looks like if you're worried about the price of tires, 20" are not the rims to own for a 4x4 truck. :(
Yeah...maybe I'll swap them for some 17's or something.
get rid of the 20's and get 17's. tires are much cheaper. not to mention 20's are a parasite to performance. i know you dont want to spend a lot but in the long run (if that even exists with you ) 17's are the way to go. dont forget, you are going somewhere where they put a lot of salt on the roads. to upkeep the 20's will be a pita.
