2009 Sierra SLT

Alright, as promised, here are the pics of my new truck... 2009 Sierra SLT loaded... 5.3/4L60E combo with 3.73's and a locker, that about sums it up. Goes in next week for a Denali grille, GMC bed rug, and soft tonneau cover, and I should have my HIDs in by then too. I'll update with pics later.

Man the NNBS look nice in the white and I like those chrome stockers. Good buy man. :)

Thank you! I did look at a crew cab with pretty much the same setup, but it was a lot more $$ since it was a 2010... I got a great deal on this 2009

My thoughts exactly! It's nice to have a truck that all I have to do is pretty much put gas in! I'll have some pics up this week when I get my goodies put on

Sure is... it's got the chrome package (mirror caps, door handles, tow hooks, and exhaust tip)... not sure how I feel about all the chrome, I can always color match down the road though if I want.

Thank you guys! I'm getting a lot of enjoyment out of it already... except... it needs a tune, bad... stock leaves ALOT to be desired on the new trucks, not impressed.

Thanks again everyone, I've got an AFE intake coming in Wednesday, I'm looking for tuning options right now, it'll be either Nelson or BlackBear, not quite sure yet.

I would take that thing back, the steering wheel is 180dg out, that would bother me if i had to drive a truck with and upside down steering wheel. does that mean the steering is reversed as well. was this a prototype that GM accidentally let out of the R&D facility.

Looks awesome, I want those wheels. The NNBS GMC trucks look awesome, the Chevy not so much. The Denali grille makes the truck!

This is my deliberation... I'm not sure whether to put a leveling kit on it with bigger tires, or lower it some... leaning towards the leveling kit since it's a 4x4... definitely going to color match though!

Update! Sort of... nothing special... but I got my 12,000k fogs in. I also did a few little small touches, painted the GMC emblem, put Sylvania park light bulbs in, got a Recon LED light bar, an aFe intake, and lots of interior and exterior LEDs. I highly recommend to anyone with an NNBS to get the LEDs for the interior, they're BRIGHT. Got bored and snapped some pics tonight, don't flame me too bad for it being incredibly dirty. :ugh2:

Now... couple questions... for my exhaust, I'm wanting catted LT's and a nice catback. I'm stuck between a few choices. I could go the cheap way and get the OBX LT's for the 6.2 which I hear fit perfect on the 4x4, or I could go expensive and get ARH's. If the OBXs will be alright, I think I'll go that route. I'm also stuck between either Gibson or Magnaflow for the catback, I really like the Gibson extreme duals though, what do you guys think? And of course, I need to fill out a Nelson tune sheet this week :devil:

I hear that PaceSetter has released a set of LT's for the NNBS 4x4's also.....

Seeing your fogs makes me want to swap to the 03 style GMC bumper and get a set of HID's in there badly. :sad:

I got the HIDs from DDM Tuning, it's their slim ballast 35 watt kit. And I'll see if I can get a picture of the light bar up later on!

Thanks for the info on the Pacesetters, I'll check that out for sure. Do the bumper upgrade, HIDs in fogs FTW!!

Welp, I got bored today after work so I did some more debadging... I've taken off all the stock emblems, but I think I'm going to leave the molding. Here's some pics...

And here's the engine bay... pretty dirty for my standards at the moment... all stock except for an aFe CAI (along with a Magnaflow that's obviously not pictured) which I highly recommend to anyone looking for an NNBS CAI.
