In a nutshell, I'm about to pull my charger pipes off and clean the oil out of them. I was thinking of using brake cleaner and a pressure washer with some rags. What is a good chemical and/or method of getting all the oil out?

I used to use wd40 to get the 2cycle oil residue off my dirtbike. Simple green works well too.
So, simple green is a good de-oiler/oil cleaner upper???
yeah simple green works great
ZEP Purple Cleaner is what I use and it rocks over Simple Green (though Simple Green is good). :)
ZEP ZU0856128 Ind. Purple Cleaner & Degreaser Con., Gal.
Panther Red Soap which is a highly basic/caustic cleaner used in oilfield apps is the way to go if you can get your hands on some....its an awesome industrial degreaser but will irritate the skin
TSP (trisodium phosphate) works great on oil and grease, you can get it at any paint of hardware store.
Basically, there are alot of products that work great. Just don't use oil.
crc brake clean
I used simple green on mine 2wice. I got rid of that turbo system. It works good, but the scavenger pumps suck. They make a good one on the Porsches. Try their pump. I wish I would have, I may still have the STS.

dish soap and purple power
oven cleaner

Well Bryan w/e it is we can get it and I should be off work by the time u get to town and she said her pressure washer dont play any games! so were gonna get it clean. THEN maybe i can talk u into throwin my E.T. streets and takin it to the track..
Hey thanks again. I think I'm just gonna use some simple green with hot water. I figure we can use the dish-washing method - soak the pipes in a bucket filled with hot water/simple green for a bit, then rinse them out with the pressure washer.
Ive been cleaning up some covers with oil baked on to them and tried simple green, brake cleaner, and dish soap letting them sit for about 10 minutes then trying to wipe them away. None of them worked very well and when I tried the oven cleaner it took that crap off on contact . Oven cleaner is now my go to clean for heavy gunk, although they say its bad for aluminium.
Oven cleaner works wonders on anything...LOL... especially pistons.. The Purple power is the chit when you use it straight non diluted. Just make sure you have gloves on cause it will mess up your hands..
Anything that the instructions say to dilute.
hmmm I use a industrial cleaner it's awesome but will turn your skin to jelly like if you get it on you
