yessir...but you'll need a new front shaft if you go up to 8"...and make sure you get the steering bracket with the springs (i'm having a brain fart...think it goes on pitman arm)
They should. Just measure em first. They should be 48'' springs.
I also have one of the adjustable drag links and pitman arms that you would need. Is new, maybe 5 runs on the combo. Got off of a buddy.
Let me know.
i just emailed the guy. wel heres the deal. as soon as i do the shift kit on my truck im goin to put it on hold. cause everything else i wanna do will cost bookoo bucks. so me and my girl and her dad have decided to build a true blue mud truck. id like a 80s half ton with one ton running gear. so i'm collecting just cheap parts as i go like lift springs, motor, trans, t case. just stuff guys are wanting to get rid of. get out of the way. i already scored some weld racing 8 lug wheels for FREE. just need some TLC.
Pics or what you say is all lies.
pics of what tanz? lol i haven't obtained a truck yet. we're waiting on my girls dad to score us a truck. he finds crap for free. i have no clue how! a month ago he got a straight 454 one ton for free. the guy just said haul it off. he just knows people who know people. lol.
we plan to strip it all out. two bucket seats with harnest. cage. home made dash with just tach, oil, batt, and gas in it. rattle can paint job. the rest is going to be budget build one ton running gear. just a hoopty that we can trailer and tear up! ill post pics when we find one. but i have to be patient cause im more than broke.
oh yeah ill post the pics of the wheels soon.
Dang nice freebie!! Wish i could find those deals
HOW'D YOU CLEAN THOSE UP!? My buddy has same wheels...i tried to polish them, after like an hour the back swirly things STILL looked like garbage. I can't fit my drill buffer attachment in there.
Do like I do. Give the GF the proper tools and instructions. Walk away and come back an hour later. Thats how i got my truck ready for paint!!! ''Here babe take this 800 grit and don't stop until the whole bed is dull.'' And she did it too. hahaha
i used the POWER BALL lol and mothers polish. total it cost me like 30 bucks but it really cleaned up the wheels. im gunna hit them again when i get the time. im just having trouble finding the center caps.
Just get some standard external thread lugs and use the centers off of newer 2500 rims.
+1 on what tanz said...that looks SICK
but i'm calling bs on the mothers ball. I tried one with my old mickey rims, when they were like 6 months old. After 2 hrs, I gave up and did the rest by hand in half the time.
These welds were pretty rough after winter. I ended up sanding them down with 400, 800, 1000, 1200 wetsand and polishing. Still need some work, but they shine good enough. I'm tempted to just spray clear on them next time, HATE polishing wheels.
good idea. i like the nnbs centers better though.
and yes i really did use the mother ball. i am going to spray some sort of clear coat on them when i get done with them.
If your rims are really bad just wet sand them first, and then polish them with a rag and cream. They will come brand new.
