How Much Does Your Truck Weigh?

Weighed my 2000 RCSB Silverado LS 5.3 with tow package today. It's bone stock except for E-fans. The low fuel light had just come on. Weight is with no driver and was weighed on a CAT scale...

Front = 2,560
Rear = 1,760
Total = 4,320

I was hoping it would be a bit lighter than that.

As I recall (can't find the weight ticket) my 1968 RCSB with cast iron SBC (aluminum intake) & Turbo 350 trans with no A/C and a truck 12 bolt was 3,9xx lbs with no driver. I can't believe it's lighter than the 2000 RCSB. The 68 just feels heavy. Even the doors feel heavy when you open and shut them.

holy crap. I didnt think the rcsb trucks were that heavy. I was thinking they were less than 4k. Maybe I'm just old and forgot.

Haven't weighed this one yet but my old F-250 weighed a whopping 7200Lbs with me in it. so i guess 7000 Empty :lol:

last i weighed was a couple months ago - RCSB 4x4 with 1/2 tank of gas, stuff (mostly tools) behind the seats, & me = 47xxlb

I'm at 5000lbs on street setup, full tank, some tools and me

yeah the SAR scale said mine was 5005lbs wiht 3/4 tanks of gas and everyhting else and my fat ass in it

At the track mine weighted 4960lbs with 1/4 tank and without me. We call my truck the heavy half.

Some scales are 5400 some are 5900? So Avg 5700?

6225 w/ me in it on 1/4 tank

4,170 with me in it, so like 3,930 empty, still stock interior running 20s.

haha im at 6400 with me (250) and a full tank. plus some tools, subs, tires, lift kit, 14b axle, blower, blah blah blah

I think mine is 4200 ish.. I need to scale it again

4250, 1/2 a tank, on steel wheels with heavy ass snow tires with my 160 lb ass. It's lost some weight since then though

wow, i would hate to even guess what my avalanche weighs, plus the b.s. ive bolted on it and all the junk in the tool boxes, i didnt think people from canada even knew what pounds were.

guess i lost 6 lbs lol

scaled the truck yeasterday and redid the 4 link well added some brackets

truck weighed 4010 with me in it ;)

5980lbs for the av with me in it.

4225 with the old wheels. IDK with the new ones

It makes me laugh that im heavier than most 2500hd guys :lol:

I am 4330 with me and 1/4 tank of gas! Time to lose weight on the truck..

5200 lbs. with me sitting in it. It's one hell of a load for that lil' bitty 4.8L to push
