HD keys

So I have heard a couple different things about swapping to the HD keys from the regular 1500 keys....

So someone with experience please enlighten me....will swapping to them give me a couple inches of drop or lift?

I would assume lift, but I don't have all that much experience in the matter ( even though you asked for advice from people that know what's going on with the keys :lol:).

I just searched right after your first post....all I come across is lift keys for HD's. No stock keys. :sad:

hd keys will drop you about 2.5 inchs and vis versus i gave my stockers to my buddy with a 2500hd and he got about 2 inchs of lift out of em. ill see what he did with his stockers for ya

I'm about to do a lift for my 08' gmc 2500HD..... I'd be willing to work something out if they'll work for you

I wasn't sure if the 2500/3500 had the coilovers or not.

There are different color labled key. You will want the purple ones thay are clocked the most for lowering a 1500. You can buy them at any GM dealer for around 20 a peace. I just put a pair in mine last week. Ride way better then removing all tension by backing out the bolts.

Thanks for the info man. If I don't get the ones above I'll check out the dealer.

What all is involved in swapping keys?

10-4, it may be closer to the end of the month before i get around to it unless you have someone in Midland, Tx that could help out.....I just moved here and don't have all my tools and equipment yet.
