There's lots of good things about TEXAS, and the weather isnt all that bad, you only have to wait 24hrs for it to be completely opposite lol

Nope, going some place where the weather stays 60-90's all year. It's just going to be a while so I may as well put up with this crap.
get off your soap box already. I used to live in LBC and hated it. The Mexican food is horrible. SOCAL sux ass. The only thing its got going for it is the land features such as mountains, beaches and weather. other than that most people suck there. In my personal experiences from living there. I would rather live in Nor-cal but that's only if someone put a gun to my head. God bless Texas. Love it or leave it.

Love Texas! Wouldnt let one little bad weather day detour me anyways...although Wichita Falls does kind of suck. The only thing to do up there is hunt. But a SOCAL lover and hunting dont coincide usually.

I don't live in Texas but I have spent 2 weeks in Ft Bliss Texas and 2 weeks in Red river army depot. The 2 weeks at Red River was fantastic. Me and the wife are strongly considering retirement in Texas. Even thought it is many years away. East Texas is great. I have been to California and every state along I-10. i realize i made the comment i sometimes i hate California but that was aimed at the political views of it and at the people running it, not at the local people ive met around and certainly not the weather.

It's like they sometimes say: "you pay for your environment". There is a reason houses are cheap here in WF, it sucks! I would love Austin or Dallas if it never got cold. Fact is, I get very depressed during winter because it is usually cold. One year we only had 3 days where the temps dropped below 50, I was sick and tired of cold that year too.
