Well tonight is gonna be my first night hitting the 100 shot and the bottle I got i was told it was full, it has around 800 psi i thought full waas 1100...
If not about how many passes should I get out of a 10lb bottle with 800 psi on a 100 shot?

A full bottle can get well below 800 psi. Psi is relative to how hot or cold the bottle is. Heat the bottle and the psi will rise. Try and keep it between 950 and 1050 when you flip the switch
never judge how full a bottle is by the pressure, always weigh it. but like Stew said around 950 is about where you want it to be when you spray it, which is where the bottle heater comes into play
yep. my heater can get an empty bottle up to 800.

depends on how well packed it is. Ive had bottles weigh in at 27 lbs. thats 12lbs of n20 in a 10lb bottle
empty a 10lb bottle weighs 14lbs or 14.5lbs so add 10lbs to that and 28lbs is full. Rough estimate on usage for nitrous is 1lb per 10 sec of use on a 100 shot

i usually try and squeeze 12 lbs into my 10lb bottle. freezing the bottle usually helps get it there.
downfall to this is that first hit is hard to maintain the constant pressure....you will have it at 1200psi cool and by the end of the run its at 900 and cold...now you have to spend 10-15 min heating the bottle back up...if you just start out at 10lbs then your pressure drop wont be as severe and youll have a better pass and no lean to fat problem through the runQuote:

seat wont heat it up enough at all, nor will the heater...some people will set the bottle in the engine bay or get a portable torch and heat it that way....i would run it between 900-950 and pill it to get the AFR right with that psi....thats the psi all kits are designed to work at
i never have a problem...running 7.50 index i can hit around 7.50 to 7.55 every pass on a fresh bottle to an empty bottle. maybe the pressure drop would be more noticeable on the full 1/4.Quote:

hit the bottle with a torch if you dont want to buy a heater. i keep my pressure sensor set between 950 and 1050.
I've squeezed 13lbs in my 10lb bottle. I was pretty scared, but the guy charged me 40 bucks for a 13lbs. Greg made the mistake of heating his bottle that night and blew a burst disk. Mine was resting at 1150 PSI when I sprayed the first shot... After that 1/4mile shot though, it was all the way down to 800 PSI.
I did have a bottle heater drain my battery dead one night. It kept trying to heat a empty bottle. LOL Buy a bottle heater.
There really isnt one, the psi is gonna make the difference on the "hit" hell ive sprayed at 700psi...= suck hit, but it worked. i usually try to run it at 900-1100 usually end up at 900 cus i get impatient, 1200 psi blows the tires off. Some bottles actually have the wieghts on the side like it says bottle empty = this much, bottle full = this much. Ive wrapped mine in a jacket and put the floor heater on sweated my ass off for no gain in psi, get yourself some heaters and get a good "hit" :thumb:Quote:

Well I ran a 13.9 at 100 sprayin half way through 1st then 2nd and 3rd. and this was with a rich 90 shot after I calculated the jet sizes I used.. Im thinking im gonna need bigger tires now though. I have 26/10.5 et street and everytime I hit the switch I could feel the tires break loose.
tire size shouldnt matter for traction in your case. you need to address your suspensionQuote:

Over filling the bottles is a bad idea. Bottles are designed to have an expansion area in them. Overfilling the bottle lessens this area and since liquid does not expand you run the risk of blowing you burst disc out.
Run the psi your mfg. Recommends and their jetting tell you get you system figured out.
Bottles weight can very from one mfg. to another. There should be a sticker on the side of the bottle.

You are heating a pressurized cylinder with a flame from the coals, if your lucky the disc will blow before the cylinder does killing or hurting anyone in the area.
Not a torch but still an open flame heat sorce.
the torch is very bad idea since it puts a concentrated heat spot on the bottle.
i seen a bottle let go. it was sitting on a trailer with a blanket over it to keep it out of sun but the heat just got to it. this was mid July. The bottle became a missile and flew around for a few minutes damaging a couple trucks and destroying itself banging around.
i know some sanction races will ask you leave the race if they see you using torch.. Its just to dangerous
as far as loosing traction yes suspension mods are a great start do you have any traction bars? caltrac traction bars are the shit. also heat the tires up do a fatty burnout. i use the exact same tire on my vette spraying a 150 shot making over 600 rwtq and it hooks everytime leaving at a 4k dump
