Was just wondering how many of you guys get picked on by cops becuase of the way your truck looks. I have been pulled over 4 times in the past month was never doing anything wrong but they always seem to find something about my truck once they pull me over.
yup, i get pulled over for my exhaust, it really isnt that loud, i have a friend who was bugged by the cops also and he was running the same set up. I also got pulled over for an out license plate lights, during the day......
I have been pulled over for no front lp which I understand but then he started testing my windows for tent, brake lights, turn signals, headlights, and hazards. I have been pulled over twice for speeding but I end up getting one ticket for no lp light and one sound pollution but they both let me off for speeding.
your cops sound worse than mine.
Yeah some trucks just stand out , I try to roll as stock as possible.
i got harrassed pretty bad now in my home town, they always ride my bumper :mad: it never fails when i come in to town.. Ohh an i got pulled over the other night at like 3 in the morning for no tag light.. (which i have no place to put one due to the rollpan) and im not drilling holes to put one.. he rode my bumper for about 3 miles then i guess he figured he could pull me over for that. he also was a butt about my license plate (YMEOFCR) = why me officer.
I love that plate. Reminds me of the time I cranked up "Tell me Why" by Kottonmouth Kings when I got searched once back in high school.Quote:

I've got pulled over for tint (as dark as it legally can be), my HID's believe it or not and no tailpipe.
i get pulled over atleast once a week, and im not even speeding.... this was back home in laredo. now that i moved to san antonio i have not gotten stopped(knock on wood) so its been good so far lol.
the plate i had on my old 350z was ofcrplz haha officer please if you cant figure it out. believe it or not never really got bugged in that. but always got bugged in my old bagged up sdime. even when i rolled stock height. but that was in cali. plate on that one was "it fell" no idea why some ppl never got it lol

I dont get harrassed much. I drive wayyyyyy tooo fast most of the time. I never speed in school zones or in neighborhoods.
my liscense palte is my last name and it gets me harasses, the popo already knows me. When i had my malibu they start following me when i entered town and stay behind me till i left.
i don't get pulled over at all, i did have a cop check out my marker lights one time, but since then i installed the silverlight 4157 amber bulbs and even without the reflective bumper light it shines super orange, so no problems
My town has a drug and stupid people problem so cops here are too busy to find people to bother for no good reason. Since the most they will catch me doing is speeding they tend to leave me alone.... Hope it stays that way
I think most towns have a problem like that but it seems like the cops dont take care of the stuff that they should. Just want to bother people witht he small things.Quote:

i used to get harassed quite often, but it was my own fault, ive only been pulled over once and thought it was BS, every other time ive been pulled over I WAS BREAKING THE LAW, i have a few friends that are cops and i have a feeling that keeps me out of trouble here lately. My exhaust is stupid loud so if im in town i dont hammer on it, and when i do get pulled over im polite and dont get a smart mouth, unless they start lecturing me now that pisses me off other than that im like yes i know why you pulled me over, write the ticket and send me on my way, if you dont like being harrased stop breaking the law :lol:
Yea, I got pulled over the other nite for my shift kit, I saw the cop sitting there while I was pumping gas, so I ease out and yes, the ole' 80 barks good i get a bit down the road and here he comes, i pulled over and first thing he says is "shift kits are for racecars" i was like wtf, he said i hammered on it and make it bark 2nd on purpose, so i was like whatever and got a warning
I've gotten told that I can actually let the clutch out smoothly. Apparently I don't have to side step it all the time.
I understand Im breaking the law it just seems like Im getting pulled over for things im not doing wrong, which they let me off for (aka the excuse for pulling me over) and give me a ticket for something after they search my truck.Quote:

This is true but I dont get my tickets in Garland. I drive to grapevine everyday for work so I have to drive throught Plano, Carrollton, Coppell, Grapevine, and of course there are still state troopers I have had a ticket in every one of those.Quote:
