Dont get a programmer....not worth it....contact Nelson Performance - Performance without Sacrificing Drivability for a tune
+1 get a nelson and happy bday. be patient if he doesnt answer the phone he is a busy guy and it's well worth the wait!!
i know been thinking about that alot prob end up having nelson do me one up. how loud will my truck be qith 2 inch pipe and 3.5 inch tips out the sides
Depends on the muffler.
No Muffler At All And Im 19 Now Lol
I wouldnt do tru duals. I would save up and do some long tube headers and offroad y pipe. and u will want a muffler other wise itll be stupid loud.
i wangt it stupid loud lol. im a country boy and loud pipes save lives lol.
No muffler dumped just after cab...
im going right behind the rear tires 90ed so i can here i got the stock muffler cut off and yea its loud but i cant hear it that well i want it to wake the neighbors up when it starts up lol
I agree with everyone else, especially on the Nelson tune. But being from the country where plenty of people want the same thing you do... I'd still look into some longtubes with ORY and lose the cats, then just throw on some red hots, or turbo tubes (stopped selling them in stores a long time ago, but are available on e-bay)... if you're looking for STUPID loud... true duals and straight pipes. To be quite honest though, you're probably going to lose power if you do true duals, that's why everyone is trying to drive you away from them, but it's your truck, do what YOU want.
well got my true flow intake for it for 50. will that help out at all.
Any time you put a CAI or other intake setup to get more air into the motor, the better the exhaust will sound. More air out = better, deeper sound...typically.
