TRACTION BAR Chevrolet Silverado 99 00 01 02 03 : eBay Motors (item 280419861928 end time Mar-05-10 17:44:32 PST)
Did a quick search on ebay for some used caltracs and found these. Say they will work for my truck but seem way to cheap.

those dont work, stay away from them
I'm leary of buying ebay generics. I didn't notice a brand name. I'm real leary on buying on ebay when it comes to something I have to rely on being good quality or it cold be a disaster lol.
They say lakewood. I figured they wouldnt work cuz they are nothing like caltracs
ive heard of lake wood but never seen a set actually, and those look like the old school traction bars, but theres not even a strut on those. idk man id stay away from them.
O btw looking at your mods i dont see why you would even need a traction device yet.
im sure he's just getting ready after the other parts are installed.
setup up the suspension you currently have before adding traction devices. If you dont set it up now then installing the devices wont do nothing for ya.
or spend the money and come back on here saying i still cant hook with these traction devices and slicks
+1 with suspension you get what you have dialed in, upgrade it and get it dialed in again. Don't just throw parts at it. Some adjustable shocks and setting the pinion angle to -3 or -4 degrees is a good place to start.
really? all the way down to -3/-4?
i had a set of lake wood slap bars on my old truck 2000 chevy 1500 ecsb they did work good but are very loud
anyone got a link to a set of adjustable shocks that done break the bank? and can i achieve the correct pinion angle with the shims say summit sells?
Dont got a link but rancho rs9000s
