Shortest post ever.....I feel for you moze. Are you leaving us now? Will you be at SAR still?
You drove that truck Daily for a while..... without any major troubles or problems... I would consider your issues VERY small for the package that you had. Your a Winner You bought, You built it and you make it what it is .. and the best part is you were able to avoid Fate... It only gets so good.... before it all gets really bad....
mind if I ask what happened?
He sold it so he can move away and forget about us...
sold quicker than i thought
now i wont feel so bad when i see it on the street and i put a beating on it
Did you think about that before you typed that Alan? If not, I understand because you might help me with the same problem.
Moze You Didn't Call Me I Was Hungry
:(
I want know what happen to his truck and what prombles was he having?
sweet dreams, Lucille
do we know who bought it?
hopefully the new owner will join the site and keep it in the family
Congrats Moze. Hate to see her go but I know you will move on to better things. I'm almost positive he wasn't having any problems. Just needed a more suitable truck for up North.
:(
Nothing was wrong with the truck. Like Jon said, I need something more conducive to terrain, snow, etc. and the truck obviously just didn't fit the bill. Selling the truck is simply a matter of prioritizing. Casey summed it up perfectly. With the help of quite a few on here I was able to have a low 11 (easily high 10) second daily driver. Mission accomplished. No bad crashes or anything like that, so it was a successful journey in what I had set out to do.
The guy that bought it is a dad, really nice guy, lives in Mississippi and plans on sticking a 402 behind the turbo. He's not new to the performance thing, he has a number of vehicles that are street driven and would stomp my truck. So I think it's in good hands. He doesn't really get on forums, but he said maybe his son would to keep me posted. Either way, it's got a good home.
I detailed it all up before taking it to him and man, it sure looked good. Pulling away as they were about to load it on the trailer was like watching some dude walk off with your girlfriend. :(
Wow thats rough! I know it would kill me to see something that I put all that time and money in to drive away... :(
Well goodluck moze! Just because you dont own a truck now doesnt mean you gotta ditch the site though! hahaha
damm bet that sucked when u know all your blood, sweat and time went into that truck.good luck on your new ride man.
Yeah it did suck. But I'm ready to put some blood, sweat, time and money into living somewhere we love. That's a little more important.
And I'll still be here and still be a mod. Still have the wifeys TBSS so...
i say once you got everything all settled down at your new place, u should make a mini LUCILLE out of an s10 :naughty:
Im new round here but i dont understand why you dont just build a 4x4 version of Lucille?
I feel your pain. I recently had to sell my baby too, same thing just wasn't working for my situation. Time heels all
Good luck Moze !! Hate to see the truck leave the site but i see one bad azz TBSS in the future !!! :burns:
Wait, didn't you put a bunch of moth balls in the gas tank to make extra horsepowers? Also, did you ever find a place to put nitrous in your gas tank? I'm still looking, and all the gas station attendants look at me funny when I ask...
Just to rub it in a little!

the lucky guy lives in Mississipi
congrats moze hard to see it go but at least it has a good home and its what you wanted too.
he'll be happy with it. wish i could have seen the truck in person tho. exspecially living in Rockwall lol
Goodbye Lucille... anything so nice should have never been let go :( ... traded Lucille in for Rosie O' Donnell... YUCK!!!
Sorry, bro...reminds me of letting my SS396 go that at the time I had for half my life. Difference is my car was in shambles at the time and brought me a lot more cash than I thought it was worth...and I was moving. Hint, hint.
No regrets here and I hope the same for you, my friend.
BTW, you need to get a handle on that Greg guy, his butt called me Saturday.
moze don't you worry about the truck on of my friends bought it and i will keep you updated!!!!! He has a larger 414 going in in i think. He is a great guy and always has some nice rides. Ill get to try him out thursday night in the new ride haha! I'm sorry it had to go but its in good hands, be on the lookout for some pictures!
What's his name? Just curious if we're talking about the same guy.
