Guys want to help me find a truck?

It's a bitter-sweet day. I deliver the truck to the new owner tomorrow. Good news is he knows his stuff and is putting a 402 behind the turbo and keeping it a street truck. So Lucille will live on...

That brings me to my "dilemma"...I need a truck fairly quickly. Please don't load this thread up with what a traitor I am, etc.

These are the musts:

2005 or newer Nissan Titan
Crew Cab
4wd
$22,000 or less

These are the wants:

Leather
Sunroof
6" Lift or so
Exterior Color: Silver or Black

I'm willing to drive a ways or even fly to a nearby state (only if at a dealer) and drive it back.

I know I'll catch flack for getting a Titan, but I could really use some help locating something. Thanks in advance.

Please Moze no silver. Almost every Titan I see is Silver. They are a very nice truck though

So not to flame but why a Nissan? You have experience with GM products why start new? Just trying to understand. Not making any assumptions about buying a different brand of truck.

maybe he's wanting HP from the factory. Sure we can build some powerful trucks but we all must admit that they're nothing to write home about when bone stock. I wish GM would give us something in the HP direction to be proud of when we roll out of the dealership in a new truck. QUIT PROTECTING YOUR CAR LINE BY BUILDING UNDERPOWERED TRUCKS!!!

Ok, anyways--a few tidbits... The 07 model had a bump in HP and TQ, plus other mid-generation updates over the 04-06 models. Also try and make sure to grab one with the Big Tow Package.

Personally, black is the best cause it hides that horribly ugly tailgate better than other colors. Since you want leather, sunroof, etc--look for the LE model.

No April Fools...:) There are a few reasons I'm going with a Titan. Frankly, I want a change of scenery, they're more comfortable, they have a lot of features some of the other trucks don't offer that I like.

...stated above. Just ready for a change. And they're also less expensive and we're trying to simplify. It's not really about performance anymore.

What I was hoping for was for whoever is in different regions to check Craigslist, etc. I'm checking, just extremely pressed for time and any help would be appreciated.

Moze...they are ASKING $26k. Offer them the $22k you wanna spend and see if they will bite. ;)

2008 Nissan Titan 4x4

I love driving unmodified vehicles, you dont have to worry about anything. It just drives, a titan will be nice that's for sure.

I'm watching that one. Trophy Nissan pissed me off a few years back my leaving me in an office and trying to freeze me out. But I'm watching that one. Tires need to be a smidge bigger but nice truck.

Agreed, I do think the Titan's look awesome when lifted with bigger tires. I'll keep my eye out when I'm searching around.
