Ive got a shallow mount P3 with Rockford box in the for sale section.
It depends on how hard you want it to slam. I put a JL W1 13 in a ported box in a 04 rc, I was very impressed. It still wasn't as loud as my bedcut with the 2 12's though. You could do a bandpass bedcut and only have about a 10"X15" hole cut in the cab. That's how I did my white truck. On reg cab bedcuts I normally built a piece that covered where the back wall had been cut, they always looked beautiful.
IMO...probox, hits great and you can still have your seat leaned back
ProBox Custom UTV Tops and Vehicle-Specific Subwoofers and Enclosures
don't forget that a little fatmat or dynamat works wonders
i just sent them an email to get pricing,,do yall think two 10's on one side would hit hard?im not sure on cutting the cab lol
btw warlock i saw your system, thats a good deal, but i dont think it will suit my bass needs lol
how about 1 kicker solo baric 10 or 12 full box behind the seats?
my one ten hit 137.5 on the dash with 500w behind it. to me it hit a lot harder than i expected it too.
i mite go mtx audio
Also look at the Solobaric Classic, a pair of 10's will fit and still leave room, they work small sealed, .66 per driver.
L series, larger ported for best performance.
Sound Stream T5- yeah they werent much starting off but now that some super rich dude bough the company out, their quality went through the roof! Its still got nice SQ for how "cheap" it is, definitely check one out before ya down it.
Get a JL 13 TW-5 and have a shop custom build a sealed box for it. Will be louder and sound better than anything else out there!
you can get a solo-baric or solo classic ten in a vented box directly from kicker that are made for a truck, had a single ten L5 in my truck it sounded alright, i prefer the sound of the solo-classic over the square, i now sport two cvr 12s run off a kicker 750.1, hits pretty hard and thats in a prefab box, custom built would sound better, kicker also has a shallow mount sub fitted in a box that is a direct comparrison to the cvr's, if you went the kicker route, depending on how much money you wanna spend, id go with the solo-classic or the kicker cvt shallow mounts, you can get both in a box from kicker
