15s may fit on the back, but wont fit on the front.
ughhh. is that anything i can do to make 15's fit on the front? grind the calipers?
Thats a TON of grinding. Not worth it IMO.

i guess ill stick with my stock tahoe rims. Anybody know how much a 16" tahoe rim weighs?
+1 on the lots of grinding. i tried OBS 16"s & even they wouldn't fit without grinding. maybe somebody makes one that will clear, but it'll take some digging
ok so the tahoe rim is 16x7. im looking for a drag radial and the only one i can find that may work is this one Mickey Thompson 3794R Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Drag Tires
Itsay rim width 8-10. Do yall think it would be safe to run this tire on a 7" rim?
I have 15s on the front of my 2002... I do have to run a small 1/8 spacer to keep it out of the front calipers.... in fact i have 15s all the way around....
what brand and what back spacing?
anybody else know of any 15's that fit over the calipers?
15's will fit--but as Casey has proved, the wheel has to use spacers to get the wheel farther away from the hub. The wheel is tapered, and the farther away from the caliper, the smaller diameter wheel you can use.
ok i guess ill just order them and try em before i mount the tires and if they dont fit ill find some lighter than stock 16's
What we're trying to say is all you need is SPACERS... They're normally made of billet and can be bough for under 100 bucks.
Wheel Adapters 6 Lug CJ Dakota
i gotchya. should i get just spacers or adapters. adapters being thicker with studs built into them vs spacers with just holes that use the existing studs
if i get the adapters should i get rims with an extra inch of backspacing?
lol sry. as much as i kno about cars, i get so confused when it come to wheels and backspacing and offset lol
