The crispness of the shift and the longevity it gives ur tranny are the up sides.
Not sure of anything bad...
I would go with the TransGo HD2 Kit. Want that and servos for mine before i abuse it anymore. :)
It will give you better performance and shifts out of the 60e--plus help it live a little longer. The HD-2 and Superior kits are pretty good...Quote:

Yeah, HD-2 is a good kit to use. Pair that up with some Corvette servos and you'll be good!
Now will I have to mess with my line pressures? I only have a Programmer right now,but all the tranny settings are set to stock.
You can but don't have to. Shouldn't have to increase them very much.
I would keep it all stock in the tune. Do not install any washers in the 2nd accumulator from the kit. If the tranny doesn't shift firm enough for you after that, then you can bump things up in the tune.
It shifts decent with the Servo's installed.Just wanting it to have a little more.
