Need help.
So on monday of this week my truck just stopped moving when i pulled out from a red light. Had nothing in the trans from park to first.(every gear was like N) Was making an awful grinding noise when it was in gear and would only stop when i started the truck in park and left it in. So i finally tore the transfer case apart to day and when me and my dad was pulling it out there was only 2 bolts that held the t-case on were actually torqued down, the rest were barely finger tight. Because of this the t-case was flexing when the throttle was mashed and in return it has screwed up the main shaft and input gear. (will post pics later). Noticed that some of the heads on the bell housing bolts were messed up indicating that the trans had been out some time before and the sobs that worked on it could not but the t-case back in right and the sorry dealer ship did not check the truck out like i asked them to when i traded for it. So now im trying to track down who worked on it to kick'em in the nuts and get my truck back on the road with out spending a small fortune. Priced the mainshaft from a dealer and was told a price of $1100 and some odd dollars just for one lil part. Sorry for the long post just venting. So does anyone know were i can find a NP-149 t-case?

sorry about the language and thanks for the link, couldn't find anything tho. Wouldn't pull anything up for a sierra and put for a 03 ss and it gave me a t-case for an 02 ss. (dont think so)

when looking under gmc it never gave me the option for my t-case, only for switch or floor operated.

Yeah thanks man:thumb: Is there not any way just to get the two parts that i need? Thats what sucks about this everything else in the t-case looks brand new.

In Dallas there is a company called Bishop that parts out every drivetrain related part you'd ever need. Surely in NC there is a similar company. I believe they are on Cadiz Street if you're curious.

Found one only 45miles from the house out of a 04 SS with only 34000 on it for 650, and its on its way here now. Also if anyone is wanting an LQ9 they still have the engine, still in the truck for 1200. Yard is located in bristol tn.
