yes i agree...how come you didnt go bigger on the cam?
edit: i confused your truck for the camaro...what cam you running in the camaro?
nice build!!
Thanks for the compliments. The cam is still small. It's 224/230. 580. 588. 114. Fi is in the cars future. It's a driver. Ac. Cruise. Power locks and windows plan on doing a couple of power tours with this baby.
Good one dude. Im assuming the crank, rods, and pistons are forged? Nice build, nice parts
yup all forged. all new. i had kendricks in san antonio do the balancing and short block assy. other than that i did 90% of the work myself. i was involved in the body work and panel replacement, did my own dash, floorpans, trunk and mini tubs. my body guys stepped in on the quarter panels though. it did get a little scary for a while!
Very nice sir! I would love to be able to do something like that that for the wife.....thats her dream car!
once running, i'll take it to allen for a drive tune and some dyno time. but looking for 450-470rwhp. then we'll take it out to sar for some suspension tuning. its got the prodigy customs (airbar with coil overs instead of bags) four link.
Engine porn indeed!
thanks guys, its been a road i tell ya. 4 years ago last month i bought this thing and drove it last!
ur project is awesome...I want also a LS engine in my muscle car....can u place more pics of the Engine and transmision please.........
Nice build!
Yours is coming soon Gabe, hehe.
Heard so great things about that Prodigy stuff that almost got one, but I got a better deal from TotalCostInvolved for the whole chassis (front clip, rear 4 link and Xover members) with brakes and everything included.
So far I installed the rear 4 link and tubed for the Boze 20x11.5 and is a nice ride, not pro touring it, just a nice ride and a few ricer eater.
But the LS engine in it is a dream dude, what transmision are u planning on it?
Tci was an option forme as well. But after seeing so many road course cars using the airbar it made up my mind. As far as the ls. It's really not much more
money than a quality sbc build. And about the same as a good BBC.
engine porn i call it gearhead porn now this lifestile is not a hobby its an addiction that i love great car man cant wait to see the finished product
more recent pics while plumbing tank and routing 3' exhaust.
Freaking awesome.......what size of tire on the back dude?
315/35/17 DRAG RADIAL. will normally have a 335 dkw.
