they DID make ss s10's in those years...but i believe they were ALL black, and came with 3.73 g80 rears amongst other minor appearance features.
unless you have a car made before 1980 a TRUE ss means nothing...especially when nothing else is left stock

There were SS S-10s. they were made from 1994-1998. And they came in three colors, red, white, and black. I think it's legit, all SS S-10 came with color matched bumpersQuote:

The SS S-10's all have the aluminum top CPI spider injection 200+ HP engine and trans/oil coolers, lower suspension, emblems, graphics, rear roll pan, different wheels, and an auto trans. They're also all regular cab. Not sure they were made in 1998 as stated above (1998 is a different body). They came in red, white, and black. Our first one at Huffines was a white with red emblems and a grey interior. They also all had 3.73's.
