I recieved a harness today that was supposed to be from a 5.3 60e van but I dont recognize one of the plugs. Anyone know where this plug goes?

You might post the color of the wires in the connector, also. If one of them is grey and then you have a black/white wire then it could very well be the fuel pump.
Ill look when I get back home. Its for marcus truck so he may not need that plug anyways
I dont think its the fuel pump. Its only a foot away from the trans plug. Colors look like 2 blacks, one purple, and a tan.
I got nothing. Looks like some common FWD van front engine harness connectors but I just went down the list of ALL inline harness connectors on a V8 2006 Express and there is no connector like that listed. The colors are super common so that doesn't help either. Post a wider shot that shows its relative position....also give more hints. Look into it further and make sure it's really part of the engine harness and while you're at it, find out if it came out of a van or something much worse like a UHAUL van or some other bastardized "Thing".
It's not the fuel pump.

No....well....maybe. If so it's off an AWD Express (they exist) and I don't recognize it because I have never seen one. It's not a plug for the 4WD on a regular truck harness. I'd say it is a :ghey: van harness as it has a :ghey: van plug. Cut the harness apart and tell me where all the wires go if you wanna know what it is.
why not just use a circuit tester and find both ends of the circuit? :lol:
I was just told it was from an 01 2500 Box Van. Dont know if that helps or not.
Because if you have no idea where the other end of the wire is it's easierest to follow the wire than it is to hook a lead to one end and probe every random other wire looking for continuity. :greg:Quote:

It has to be from an AWD van because the rest of the harness is for the tranny. What else is near the tranny with such short wires?????
