403ci short block, approx 20k miles on it. Built by Rex, and I just took it to him to have him inspect it. Cylinder walls and main bearings were like new, rod bearings had a tiny bit of wear on them so he put in brand new ones. He said it's in great shape and good to go.

I don't know a whole lot about nitrous (never used it personally) so I can't really tell you that. The engine components though should be good for 1000+ hp, so take from that what you will.Quote:

Yep, crank was $1400 new, rods were $600ish new, pistons were $600ish new, good condition blocks go for $400-500, then you have rings, bearings, main studs, machine work, and labor on top of that. Would be easy to spend $5000 plus for a new shortblock built to these specs.
