Truck Nutz

What do you guys think about truck nutz? My wife bought a set to go on my truck and while i think its funny alot of the ford community is giving me a bunch of grief over putting them on my truck. I have heard things like its Stuipd, Immature, Class less, taste less and a number of other things. However they say the same thing on putting an ls1 in a ford truck. My truck is a 1994 Ford F150 4x4 extended cab that is fixing to get an ls1 transplant.

I laugh at those around here with balls. We have lots of quarter horse ranches and oil field stuff so it's common.

Mod the truck so it speaks for itself. Leave the Truck nutz, Rather be Cummin than Strokin stickers, etc. for the high school kids.

I finally mounted them just to see what they would look like. the truck is down right now till i get everything ready for the swap.

I have driven a few ls1 trucks and so i was very impressed with the fuel economy, horsepower and torq. all of those reason are why i am doing the swap. Also chevy truck engines are just a hell of alot cheaper to work on and alot easyier.

I think truck nutz are a little :ghey: but like I've said before; to each his own. Also think a LS motor in a ford is a waste of LS motor but I guess it will make the truck halfway decent. Don't listen to us though, do what makes you happy

i had a friend that had some chrome balls on a dodge ram. he busted his balls... in half when he bottomed them out on a ditch lol funniest thing ever. they were split in half

My ford truck has actually impressed my wife and i with how good the 4x4 is and the fact that its a decently powered truck. However the gas mileage sucks and ford parts are expensive. I wouldnt say that an ls1 in a ford truck is a waste i am taking something that needed a new engine anyways and making it alot better performance wise with an ls1. their is alot of bad to be said about ford. however at least they didnt take bailout money and are trying to make it without it.

A-MEN TO THAT BROTHER!!! I love GM but I think they have been taking a downward slide since 2002. I really can't say that I blame you for putting the LS powerplant in the Ford. My 99 F150 had the Triton 5.4 with 60k and it was a total PIG!! Sucked gas and didn't have near the power of my 99 Z71 I traded it for.

I am keeping the truck because it was her stepdads and he meant alot to both of us and he is gone. that doesnt mean i am stuck with a pig. i have seen plenty of fords with chevy engines. One that comes to mind has a rear decal that says "Ford Tough with Chevy Stuff". that got my passion for a hybrid between ford and chevy. in this day and time its time to just be proud to be american made. face it or not but foriegn manufactured automobiles are really kicking the big 3's ass right now and after they kick the ass they have the gawl to give them a huge Wedgie.

Nothing is American anymore. Sadly, the tundra and Titan are the two most American trucks out there. If you look at the tundras parts content 80% is American. GM is mostly made in Mexico and Canada and sometimes assembled in America. My last 3 Chevys; 99, 00, and my 02, all had general motors of Canada on the tag inside the door.

Calm down, I wasn't calling your truck a pig. I'm sentimental too so I understand wanting to keep the truck. Can't even kid around with people anymore without going against the grain.

They have been the best three trucks I've ever owned. The white one had 185 and some change on the clock and ran great. The kid I sold it to is still driving the piss out of it. That one made it through my dad so it had to be a good truck. He's hell on vehicles especially work trucks.

It is a bit ridiculous, and quite possibly a waste of 600 bones, but getting the point across to the moron that just cut you off or pulled too close in front of you is worth it eh? What about lighting up the idiot who's texting/talking while driving? I just figure since I'm bagging the truck and will need air anyway, why not start with some obnoxiousness.

Because my middle finger doesn't cost $600 bucks..lol...Also if someone isn't paying as much attention to the road as they should because of the phone then honking at them could make them jump and cause a wreck IMO.

i am not upset. the truck is a pig in comparison to the short bed chevy with a 350 i had before i met my wife. the 302 while a decent engine in mustangs doesn't have the horsepower my grandmother's van has with a 305 in it. i am sentimental to the truck but not its engine. i figure what the hell take something you love and make it the way it should of been. by the way i really like the pictures of your truck if i was buying a new one i would go for one like yours.
no hard feelings and i can take a joke. the truck nutz was a surprise gift from my wife i put them on my truck as they are not common where i live at and to make my wife happy however after i get it fixed the way i want it i will probably retire them

Cool, I don't like hurting anyone's feelings and I know exactly where you're coming from. Thanks for the compliments on the truck, I really like it. I bought it pretty much like it is so I can do more with it. As long as we know I wasn't trying to bust your nutz (:lol:) and just give you a friendly hard time I guess we can all still be friends right? Good luck with the build and keep the old beasty up for the pops! I'm sure he would be proud

Brad I guess you got a point about the cellphoners, maybe I should be a little more careful with that. I think I'm still gonna get horns though. Stupid young kids and their toys:lol:

Back onto the truck nutz topic.... I seen a diesel the other night with two gas motor pistons for his truck nutz! I wish that I could of gotten some pictures of it, it was a classic.
