I have a set of 6.0 317 casting Heads with Comp 918 Bee Hive Springs.
The heads are in great shape and were proffesionaly installed/uninstalled by Horespower Engineering in Houston, TX.

Those heads have the 4.0+ bore? Wouldnt work on my 4.8 with the 243 heads, right?

I thought they were the same, but wasnt positive. So the bore size isnt an issue, since these heads came from a 6.0? I thought the LQ4 had larger valves than the 4.8

if u put 317 on a 4.8 (like i am :lol:) u will have about 8.5:1 compression which is no good especially N/A
It will be a good idea when I turbo this thing tho. But yeah this engine already has somewhat low compression anyways, compared to the other LS engines. I think mine is only 9.1:1, not sure but I think thats what it is

The 6.0 does have bigger valves than the mini 4.8 and the medium sized 5.3 but that doesn't mean the heads are different (other than the seats) :tvhaha:
