for got to add ill be running the MAF right in front of the throttlebody
IMO, the gains, if any, will be minimal. You can have all the intake piping you want, but at some point it all has to funnel through the TB. Sort of like ten lanes narrowing to three at a toll station...
It looks pretty cool though...
if i were you id just get that 427 and put it in there lol

i get what you mean but with tat cover there you really cant tell lol
no there running the ls7 car intake,just using the truck front bracket accessories.btw yea that engine cover is pretty tall,but it is hiding all the coil packs.
heres the godfather silverado with ls7,now they used the ls7 front accessories

just go with the good hood twin ram air its working great on gladiator 6.0 fresh air in the knn and fresh air for the 6.0, my friend has one for a 08 tahoe dont know if it fits your truck.
