I've never heard of the Diesel Audio, so I don't have any input there. I've never been big on Pioneer subs but they do sound good for the price. I think 350 is a fairly good price for everything installed.
I have heard of Diesal audio. I believe they are bottom of the line but I could be wrong. The pioneer shallow mounts sound pretty good. I installed one in a standard cab ranger with a Rockford T3002 and it beat.
Diesel is extreme low end.
just save up for some Diamond Audio, I promise you will not be disappointed.
Diesel....no-no...
always stick to the names you've heard of, that's my theory with audio stuff anyway
I agree invest in a better amp. look for a mono amp with class D technology. They will last and last. A quick look says the Pioneer PRS-D1200M amp would be perfect rms watts{300} for the shallow mount 10" wired into a 2 OHM load
The Shallow mount sub doesnt sound great. But for space reasons they are good. As far as my dealings with D-sal audio I bout 2 of there 12s to get rid of the heavy subs I had... Blew them in less then a hour with barely RMS to them.
thanks dude , likewsie :D
A good rule of thumb when buying any electronics is that you usually get what you pay for

diesel is very low end...really only good if you just need something basic to push your door speakers...the pioneer shallow mount sub sucks something horrible if you want to check out a good quality shallow mount look into the memphis s-class it's like 250 for the sub but WELL worth it...
