hey guys im just wondering if anyone has ever thought of doing a ls1truck calender? ya know like how ls1tech has there own calender. i think it would be sweet to have one done with all trucks/suvs!

Getting it narrowed down to 12 trucks would be tricky, maybe start a thread where every active member (online at least once a week) submits there absolute best picture and once there was a decent amount say 30 or 40 trucks, have some sort of pole. Top 12 end up in the calendar, where you could also put some sponsor plugs.
yeah. also make sure to post mods and times dyno numbers ect. i think it would be awsome. that way id have a nice ls1truck calender right next to the ls1tech calender :) good burnout pictures 3/4 view pics ect would be good but would have to be high quality and trucks would have to look there best in my opinion.
clean trucks, professional looking pictures from a high quality camera, no phone camera pictures! :lol:
There are some crazy trucks here! I think it would be too hard to choose who gets to be on this calendar... especially conisdering that this is the FIRST calendar...Some people will seriously be hurt or offended if not chosen! :confused:
yeah but something like a vote would be good or lets say a certian criteria for a pic for each month. people would also have to understand that its nothing personal if they dont get picked its just a calender. if something like this did pull through and was done over the years it could be done to a point where trucks werent used again or well as much as they can be rotated out. that way everyone gets a chance for the most part.
Start a thread or something of who will get nominated? Let people randomly chose who they want i guess... Give them a deadline at least.. then we will see who is chosen!

im glad my idea caught on :D before i got my yukon and stumbled upon this site i never thought about seriously moding one of these trucks! I used to always want a 4thgen fbody with ls1 but after gettign so into these style trucks my next vehicle will not be a 4thgen but either a rcsb gmc or ecsb! :dancenana:

I really don't think there'd be whiners, if it was a vote (no nominated truck owner could vote) then that should make it pretty fair. And since it's a calendar it's only pictures so 1/4 time, dyno results, and owner shouldn't even matter. I imagine any photo/print place could do a calendar.
And as far as voting goes we could open a photobucket account everyone knows the user name and password, submit your best 3 pictures. when we close it, number the pictures 1-thru? and open a thread here to vote. I vote picture ''27'' sorta deal
Then you have the problem of 1 owner being featured more than once maybe. So like any contest take the next high score.

yeah that would be good about the nomintations that way the peroson getting voted upon couldnt get pissed about them not being picked. i just threw out the times and numbers as a option thats what ls1tech does but i could see us beign diff :D
we could put there stats in the calendar, but those factors shouldn't determine gettin in, this is more about good pictures of purdy trucks.

i have, some group photos from SAR, i think it sounds like a good idea, but the pics better be a good shot, not just sitting in the driveway or a burnout from 50 yards away.

Ill look around town some tomarrow when i go to get my exhaust done and if i find a shop that will do it ill find out pricing and if there would be a discout for x amount done!
How convenient i just found out that there is a print shop next door to the shop where im getting my exhaust dont tomarrow! Ill check it out
