Austin,TX Meet July 11-12th

I figured I would extend the invitation for you guys to come out. We're having a big truck forum get together on July 11-12. We're going out to Pace Bend Park and jumping off cliffs and just hanging out. Nothing to formal.

From the looks of it, many of us are going to camp out that night. Some people may be able to bring boats. My girlfriend has a boat that you can ski/wakeboard off of, but it's nothing special.

It should be a really fun time. I hope everyone will come even if they don't stay the night.

i would love to be in on this. Put me down as maybe. been looking for a reason to go to Austin, i just gotta see how school pans out. I have a 12ft jon boat i can bring.

Put me and the fiancé Down as a possible. I really want to meet all of you peeps. I missed the dyno day due to graduation and I was really looking forward to that. Hopefully this won't be another crash and burn for me.

Sorry for not upping this. I've been slacking as of late. I have this thread on 3 other sites and it gets hard to keep up with all of them.

Everyone be careful! The water is about 35ft below what it is in that picture, making it extremely dangerous to jump off the cliffs. Don't wanna be Debbie Downer but would hate to read or hear about someone pulling a Garrison or worse. I was out there yesterday and saw the water level myself... it's sad.

I don't think there is a specific itinerary. We are going to meet up at the galleria in Bee Caves I think around 12. We'll probably take some pictures and head out to the lake and I know i'll do some fishing. It's nothing formal, just hanging out with some people from the truck crowd.

LOL, I was on at the same time and I hit new posts every 30 seconds. I'm going to bed now though. Unfortunately, I'm not as good of a coordinator as I'd like to be.

I wish more people from here and performancetrucks would have come. Most of the people were from gmfullsize and unfortunately we had a lot of trash out there(not litter). I really enjoyed talking with Jeff(gmcwantsls1), Joe(terravast4), CJRiojas(Chris), and I think that's all from this site. The next meet will definitely not include gmfullsize. I felt sad to be associated with that website.

I've met plenty of good people from there. I'm not one of the nicest people in the world on forums, but I have a bit more class than they did. I'm cool with drinking and having a good time, but not at the expense of others.

Oh and Jeff's(GMCwantsls1) old self is still out there with those idiots. I felt bad leaving him by himself.

I definitely think this forum and pt.net are one of the best, ppl are nice and don't bash on you for not knowing something. Ill have to check out the next meet, join the cool kids.

I had a fun time! Wait until you see the Alf pictures they will post on GMFS(major WW)! I had a fun time it felt great after the sun went down and a nice breeze started blowing. They took a glow stick from some other campers and taped it to the frisbie. That was cool to see that light flying in the dark. There was some drama but I think it got worked out. Something about an old girlfriend showing up with another member. Anyway I stayed until 12:00am and drove home.

I didnt like the fact that the gmfs guys didnt even try to talk to us and we were in the shade lol(thanks jeff) It was fun fishin with you Mark. Unfortunately i didnt stay too long. Maybe next time Jon will show up like he said he would :toetap: lol JFWY I will post up the pics when i get back to SA.

I planned on coming out after lunch, but got stuck at the shop finishing up a project...Sorry guys, plus there are few members on one of the other sites that I don't really care for...
