i feel like getting pliers and pulling this molar out,its already infected though and to make it worse its broken in 3 pieces.

crown royal, or for a serious one, gargle salt water help with the infection and cut the pain
yea thats about the only thing ive been doing the warm salt/water rinse.:badteef:

Sucks to be you right now. Hope it gets better. I opt for alcohol that wont make you sick tomorrow. Throwing up will really make that thing hurt.

Just stick with salt water. Or a small cut will lower your blood pressure for a little while. Just dont over do it or take me seriously.

I went through the same thing a while back. The things i did was get a mouth full of any liqour and keep it on the side thats hurting, it helped a lil. Take a cup of hot water(dont burn your self) and mix it with salt and oregano (i beleive's what i used) and stir it up and hold it in your mouth till it cools down then spit it out and get another. It dosent taste the best but i swear on everything thats holy it stopped hurting after doing that a couple of times.
Pure vanilla extract will help some if you hold it on it. I also put icy hot on the side of my jaw and laid with my head on a heating pad. Hope you get some releif, that was the worst pain i've ever been in.

I went almost a week without sleep and went through a half bottle of rum one night tryn to get some releif. Also take some motrin ib. Finally got to the dintist office and found that it was an abseced tooth. Around 2k to fix it and that it might not last long so i had that sob ripped out.

sounds like you need antibiotics and pain meds. if your going in monday and you just got to make due until then get a bottle of nyquil and sleep until then.
if you cant go to a dentist just go to a pet store and buy some tetracycline which most have or even better some amoxicillin Fish Mox (amoxicillin) - Allivet Trusted Pet Pharmacy take about 1000 milligrams per day and the infection will clear up. but the tooth will have to be pulled if its broken or bad cavity. you can usually pop them out with a metal pick something like this but you may want to dull the tip a little to avoid ripping your gum apart.

if you dont have anything like that just grind a phillips screw driver down to a pic with a file, belt sander, or on the cement. if it has a small bend in it like a prybar you can dig under the tooth and rip it out fairly easily. just pack the hole with cotton or gauze after its out and dont suck on anything for a few days. (smoking or straws).

Holy sh*t ,you guys are nuts.I just went through this with my wiife and son at the same time ,its in fection you need to get out first,with antibiotic like the last post said ,i agree.However i dont agree with pullin it yourself.risk of more infection.if you can get an antibiotic and a pain pill that will do it for ya ,loritab 10/500 x1.5 will do .then dont go tomm unlesss its to get meds cus he wont pull it till the infection is gone and youll pay for 2 visits.yes also heat will help,and idk about the old wiskey trick to be honest .good luck buddy.
Had a buddy that pulled one out with a pair of pliers. Still would have to deal with the injection though. I used to squeeze orajel directly into my broken tooth.

Advil is the easiest OTC pain med to OD on. Causes kidney failure.

Thats crazy .Youre taking the chance of not only hurting yourself but causing more infection thatll go into youre jaw further and cause more issues.Ive seen alot of people say thyve pulled theyre own ,but i never saw them do it.Some things should be left to the pros ,ya know?

You need to get your a$$ to a dentist to keep more problems from coming up. You can end up with an infection that can cause heart problems. There was a guy here a while back that went to have a root canal and you need to be on an antibiotic for about a week berfore having anything done like. The infection he got went straight to his heart and damaged his heart valves. Dude was in ICU for three weeks. Take care.Quote:
