exhaust... Or you could order a mail order tune from allen. With retunes from now on free be a good investment early in the game. Just my 2 cents though.

Since mel will make it a long post. You send N-P money. They will send you a new ECU with a tune on it for YOUR truck. You take your old one send it to them (core) and you have a truck that will no longer shut off and perform much better.
def get the tune and with the extra cash do something simple like cut your cats off and go with like a 40 with turn downs it would fit your budget

Also a plus side to it. Say you get your LT and a full exhaust and maybe some 4.10 gears. Welp there ya go. Ya call N-P tell them the dilly. They send you one with the modification in it. You send the other back.

The original owner of my truck told me that he had a buddy with a Lightning that he could keep up with. I kinda thought it may be bs but who knows. I know after the Nelson tune it feels like my truck runs better than the last Lightning I drove and all I have is the mods listed in the sig. The truck definitely runs better with the Nelson than it did with the Predator that Sean had on the truck. I have yet to get to the track and the dyno for numbers. I promise I will in the near future, just gotta find the time.Quote:
