Probably if the others were really dead.
Hop is a sign of other troubles though (pinion angle & axle wrap).
shocks will help.
well how is it lowerd and we can tell you alil more
its a 4 inch drop in the rear with shackles
did you set your pinon angel it could be off bad do you have any springs took out and you may wont to think about some traction bars what kinda tiers are you runnin
i havent touched my pinion angle but still have the shims and i got kuhmo tires 255/55/18
i would say by by to the kuhmos and get some fusions or nittos thats just me tho i had kuhjos and i couldin get traction after 2000 rpm ha ha but you need to play with you pinion angle it will create wheel hop and vibration at high speeds and when your pinon yoke gets warn all your trany fluid will leak and you will burn up tranys left and right i learned the hard way get your pinon angel aligned right
ok thanks for the advise is there a certain angle its suppose to be at or just get it straight by eyeballing it
just get it as straight as possible didin you say you have the shim kit
yea there right by the computer but i will try that thanks man
that and some traction bars and beta tiers will solve your prob
KYB is the only way to go on shocks.
random your right tho beta shocks will help your wheel hop to if you have bad shocks but i don think thats his prob
garenteed its your pinion angle!!! traction bars wont help you much if your pinion angle isnt corrected!!! i have a bad issue with wheel hop cause i have an 8 inch drop...my pinion angle is wayyyy off!! you wanna be at -3 pinion angle for best performance!!
i was sayin if when your pinon is fixed to try the traction bars if you still have the problem
ok ill try that when i get time i got another question for u guys kinda off topic but i changed my plugs ran great for 1 day then started surging at idle i put my stock plugs back in then it went away for about 2 hours and my check engine light came on and ran the code it was misfiring on cylinder 5 i think it may be my plug wires but im not exactly sure
you may have messed one up with the new plugs but other than that it could be your coil
tomorrow im buyins some new msd plug wires and i hope thats wat it is if not my dad is gonna next day air a new coil
