It should not cause any kind of problem.

Starter, front driveline, front diff, should be wide open after that.
If it's 2WD the pan removes itself pretty much. If 4WD the axle needs to come out or at least be mostly removed....

It's less of a crossmember and more of a frame brace. No, it will not affect the alignment. If you wanna check it drive the 1:43:56 to me and I'll check it.
that would nice, but she is leaking like crazy. seems like the leak has gotten worse. gonna crawl underneath it tomorrow and pull the pan.
